Thebrood78 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 So I downloaded the game yesterday, tested it out on my Asus F555L with no settings changed whatsoever. While playable, the game definitely lagged. Here is where I didn't pass the requirements: Minimum: Core 2 Duo E6600, AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400+ You Have: Intel® Core i5-4210U CPU @ 1.70GHz Minimum: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 450 or AMD Radeon HD 5770, 1GB GDDR (DirectX11 compatible) You Have: Intel® HD Graphics Family What settings have others changed with similar situations to make the game lag less? gamingfan Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 To run the game smoothly its better if you have a dedicated graphics card rather than the integrated graphics card. Quote
Thebrood78 Posted April 29, 2015 Author Posted April 29, 2015 is there any way to do that w/ laptop? Quote
jw_f2 Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 disable depth of field and camera cuts. Drop the resolution. Quote
w00ody Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 (edited) Even on the lowest of settings you may not be able to run it smoothly, the game also doesn't seem like its optimized that great. You could possibly wait for a patch that fixes performance issues and see if that improves anything along with crowd density on low. Edited April 29, 2015 by w00ody Quote
Red Rooster Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 You Have: Intel® HD Graphics Family Thats your problem there.....you're not going to be able to run it well on that laptop. Quote

Yep I have the same thing on my toshiba granted, it has 1 gb of video memory it's still shitty lol. I was barely able to run Arkham origins on min settings so I didn't even bother with 2k15 Quote
Red Rooster Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 If you want a decent gaming experience on PC you need a desktop with a dedicated GPU, even gaming laptops suck in my opinion. Quote
DaMitch Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 Lower the crowd density Without a graphics card you aren't going to have a great time with this game Quote

My Asus VT 500 was really good at the time it ran everything I threw at it granted it was a gaming pc but I do agree 100% with you since you can't replace/upgrade CPU/GPU/Motherboards Quote
