Wrestling Fake?

When did you find out wrestling was fake? And what was your reaction?

I knew wrestling was fake before i even started watching it

I originally rolled my eyes at pro wrestling , as i was moulded too as a kid to fit the social norms

Shunning people who watched it , one day i came across it ( was about 13 ) really took a likening to rey mysterio when he was on Smack down , and started to forget the fact it was "fake" and started to get intrigued by Pro Wrestling, and eventually became one of my favourite things during my teenage years

I still regret myself being a kid teasing the other kids for liking wrestling and saying its fake , really wish i could go back in time and tell him he was a fuckwit

( years later i gave a sincere apology to the kid i teased, it was a weight off of my shoulder )

i hate being told its fake by ignorant people or other kids without them having no idea what its actually like ,Because they would probably like it if they gave it a proper go

Oh well , nothing i can do about it lol

Was never under the belief it was real to the best of my recollection, but then I have 4 older bros, 1 of which is 14 years older than me, so I suspect they introduced it to me telling me it was fake!

I've known since I started watching that it was scripted but I don't call it fake because they do hurt their bodies and some stuff you just can't fake like Taker throwing Mankind of the cell and Edge spearing Jeff of the belts and so on. I was told when I started watching and I started watch in 05 when I 6 (that was when I properly started watching it) I had watched it multiple times before even when I was only 2 and this is because my father is also a fan of pro wrestling who was also introduced by his dad so it was been pretty ironic my Grandad introduced my father and my father introduced me. But anyway even though I know it is fake that doesn't matter to me one bit because I love it the high risk action, to the amazing feuds and even the promos it just goes and it is my biggest interest I have had and I'm still just as much of not more of a fan than I was 10 years ago!
