kim666 Posted March 30, 2015 Posted March 30, 2015 It seems there is some confusion about PS3 Savegame editing. Here is a little Howto Tutorial: It is only on jailbreak PS3s possible, the popular cobra webman plugin must be installed (and activated) on your PS3, most recent jailbreak PS3 custom firmwares have it preinstalled. I use the famos rebug custom firmware with webman plugin. http://rebug.me You need to buy X-Packer 10 (won't work with X-Packer 9) and you need a ftp client. If you are a firefox user, you can use FireFTP https://addons.mozilla.org/de/firefox/addon/fireftp/ Start WWE2K14/15 on your jailbreak PS3 (with cobra/webman aktivated) Now connect to your PS3 via FTP. My PS3 has IP Adress 192.168.2.148 (your PS3's IP will be different) You should see the "dev_hdd1" folder, this folder is only visible when a game is running. It is not visible when you are in XMB. This folder contains the (so called) System Cache. WWE2K14/15 use this folder to cache the Savegame, LOGOS.DAT, caws, cas and replays. All these files are unencrypted, uncompressed and unsigned, this means the save from this folder works on all your PS3 accounts and on other jailbreak PS3s without resigning. It is easy to share this file with others It is also very easy to edit the LOGOS.DAT from this cache folder. Simply transfer the SAVE.DAT to your PC via ftp. Simply open it in X-Packer 10, then follow these 2 tutorials: skip step 1 - 8 (only for xbox 360) skip the horizon/le fluffie steps (only for xbox 360) These tutorials a written for X-Packer 9, but they still work for X-Packer 10. But remember only X-Packer 10 supports the PS3 Savegame. When you're done editing, simply transfer the SAVE.DAT back to your PS3 into the "/dev_hdd1" folder. But remember you have to start the Game first or the folder is not visible. Now you have 2 ways to load this save ingame: Of course via the Save Manager, but you can also load it at this "Welcome" screen: Simply transfer the save back to your PS3 when you see this screen, when the transfer is done press X. I hope everyone understand this real basic tutorial. 2 1 Quote
Def Dave Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Awesome. Thank you for putting this together for us, Kim. I look forward to trying this. Quote
Def Dave Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) Ok Kim, I am working towards using the AJ Lee glitch to add CDLC. I have my SAVE.DAT file thanks to the guide you provided here. But when I go to open it with Le Fluffie as shown in Redrooster's link you posted, no matter what I do it throws up an 'Error:Unknown file" message. I've tried multiple versions of the program (including 69.0.0.25), ran it as admin, renamed the file to SaveData.dat, etc. No dice. So I'm stuck obviously. Thinking about going the RTM route but I'd rather figure out how to extract this SAVE.DAT file and open up more possibilities with the AJ Lee glitch. I appreciate the guide you've put together here and any help with opening this damn file in Le Fluffie. Is there any other way to extract the SAVE.DAT file? Or could there be a problem with my SAVE.DAT file? Edited April 10, 2015 by Def Dave Quote
kim666 Posted April 10, 2015 Author Posted April 10, 2015 Dave Skip the lefluffie step. Start at step 9 in rooster's tutorial (open the save in x-packer). I know someone would try to open the save in lefluffie^^ 1 Quote
Def Dave Posted April 10, 2015 Posted April 10, 2015 (edited) It clearly says 'skip the le fluffie steps'. Ugh...facepalm. Thanks, Kim. EDIT: I got it working. I had to experiment and go with 'decrypted save' instead of 'extracted 'save as shown in redrooster's step 10, but I got it open and am able to modify the wrestler info. Thanks again for your help, Kim. Edited April 10, 2015 by Def Dave Quote
bugsyboy Posted April 12, 2015 Posted April 12, 2015 Nice to see you got it working , next time you can also extract the save data with horizon but its not normal that you can't open in lefluffie Quote
Def Dave Posted May 23, 2015 Posted May 23, 2015 (edited) Alrighty...so I gave this a try in the new Xpacker 10.3.1.0. I opened a new SAVE.DAT file and modified the height of Antonio Cesaro (who is 1.9, almost 2 meters) to 1.8 meters but noticed no height difference so I lowered his height to 1.7 and noticed no difference so I lowered it to 1.6 and noticed no difference. I kept trying different heights and yes I copied the SAVE.DAT back to dev_hdd01 each time but the actual in game height never changed even though I went all the way down to 1 meter. So either something is wrong with Xpacker for PS3 in this regard or I'm doing something screwy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Anybody else on PS3 can please confirm they've been able to actually change wrestler height in Xpacker? Edited May 23, 2015 by Def Dave Quote

N'Jadaka Posted May 27, 2015 Posted May 27, 2015 I have noticed that if you assign a hidden entrance(Like HBK's DX entrance) to a character, then you will not be able to use create a entrance for whatever class of character you've just assigned that hidden entrance to(i.e. superstars for a regular in game character, Dlc for a dlc). So if you're modding & replacing characters & assigning custom soundtracks. It's best to assign hidden entrances last. I've also noticed that when you use the AJ Lee glitch with Kim's alternate method of adding cdlc, trying to select any characters in create mode Will cause a fatal crash. 1 Quote
Legion of Doom.. Posted June 12, 2015 Posted June 12, 2015 (edited) Lads, After 80 hours trying I cannot not figure where to put the dlc files which I inject with catalog.dlc. Working on PS3 w/ CFW. Save is decrypted from dev_HDD1. Done STEPS 1,2,3 but get no joy in viewing dlc characters in under download superstar menu. In ref to "Step 1 – Copy the dlc file to your dlc folder - The dlc file I’ve included (dlc2) needs to be copied to your dlc folder. This dlc file replaces your dlc file file, so delete the dlc2 file first before copying the included dlc file. My dlc2 file to be deleted is called 267E5576B180BEBEABD7BE8863B0F5D62D7D37DE54" from http://sf4mods.blogspot.co.nz/2013/11/how-to-apply-community-dlc-pack-5.html dlc folder? catalog00X? I cannot find my dlc files on HDD ie "267E5576B180BEBEABD7BE8863B0F5D62D7D37DE54" Edited June 14, 2015 by Legion of Doom.. Quote

Like every 5th number. So my numbering looks like this: CDLC #1 gets 1402, #2 gets 1407, #3 gets 1412 and so on. And if something does not work with the last imported CDLC - adjust his number and try again. Edited April 16, 2020 by Impaler 1 Quote
