Quik Simple Question Bout Burning Hctp.....

okay, ive been hearing about how if you have a dvd burner and all this stuff..... you can burn music into hctp. anyhow, ive also heard if you make a mistake while burning the music you can mess up the game all together.

anyway, my question is instead of risking messing up your game, cant you just burn a whole new copy of hctp to a new cd(of cd-r, dvd... whatever) with a dvd burner?

the reason im asking is becuase i saw this dvd burner that simply plugs into a usb port at radio shack, and if i can burn whole new copies of games with it.....then im gonna get it, if not ill just leave it.

(p.s. i understand that either way, im gonna need the chip in the ps2)
