BigSchmid Posted March 1, 2015 Posted March 1, 2015 I will preface this question by admitting that I am new here, to modding and new to WWE 2K14. That said, I was curious if it is possible to mod and replace retro Brock Lesnar, retro Shawn Michaels and others with either created or downloaded wrestlers on the character selection screen and in the game. I find the retro versions of guys to be completely superfluous towards my enjoyment and just wasted space. If this has already been discussed, apologies and I would be grateful to be pointed in the direction of the previous thread. Thanks! =) Quote
Dbo2700 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 Welcome. Yes. That is possible provided you own a Jtag'd Xbox 360 or a Jailbroken Ps3 (to my knowledge). You will need to purchase a copy of Xpacker9 (to make things easier) and enough patience to read through the Tutorial section here. Quote
BigSchmid Posted March 2, 2015 Author Posted March 2, 2015 Thank you for the feedback. I do not own a Jtag'd 360. After having Google'd that, it looks as though one might be able to do that ones self (per Youtube videos). Is that advisable by those in here? Quote

I would get someone else to do it, unless you are proficient at soldering. 1 Quote
OverTheEdge Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I would just like to question what exactly you mean by created/downloaded, as that largely impacts the answer. If you the mods you see around the forum, then yes. However, you can't allocate one of the select screen spots to a CAW. Quote
Dbo2700 Posted March 2, 2015 Posted March 2, 2015 I can send a link to a legit guy who can jtag your current system of sale you a separate jag. Quote

Ahh, so anything uploaded to the Community Creations or created is off limits from having the select screen spot? I shall have to research what is available on the forums that would work. And even then, it would seem that getting my 360 to Jtag'd is probably a bridge too far. I suppose I should have looked on here first (rookie mistake) but I was genuinely curious as to what's possible with modding and the first time that came to mind was getting rid of retro guys for something else. Yeah, anything made in the Creation Suite would have to remain in its original location. In fact, if you were to get your console modded, you wouldn't be able to access the online functions--obviously including Community Creations--anyway. While it technically would be able to connect to the internet, it would most likely get banned quite quickly. Quote
tekken57 Posted March 6, 2015 Posted March 6, 2015 If you want to use the caws in the community creations, it can be done without a JTAG. You just need a way to access your save and X-Packer. If you are going the route of a JTAG, I would advise on getting an expert to do it. I am fairly proficient at electronics, but I got someone to JTAG my console for me. If you have a JTAG, you can easily replace the in game wrestlers with any of the mods in the modding section. Quote
