But they will have Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole voice. The voice is not important since i will mute it anyway (settings voice volume = 0?) I want to start my own shows and i will commentate over them, but it would be good to have custom superstars at commentators and announcers how do i change those? or where? and why can't i use custom superstars? I have replaced Jerry Lawler current model for the Retro one on the commentators table. Well, yeah. That's because that's still one of the lower-res commentator models. You couldn't go and replace him with like Kofi Kingston or someone, though. I think the lower-res PACHs in the commentators pac files are 000XXX06, as opposed to the standard 02 for in-ring or 04 for entrance attires. Quote

LordBarker Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 (edited) If you're talking about their audio - then yes if you wanted to mute just the commentators and still have annoucements etc you'd need to find every one of the 10,000 or so instances in the sound .pck of the commentators and 000 them in a hex editor. So a very lengthy task. Alternatively you can just turn the volume down in the options menu to mute the commentary and all intros etc Edited February 21, 2015 by LordBarker Quote

Resurrectting a very old thread here....but if it is indeed possible to inject other mods/wrestlers over the current commentators, my question is: What slot numbers are commentator Jerry Lawler and commentator Michael Cole? I'm not really finding that info. Also, anyone know what slot number commentator Jim Ross is? Would be cool to plug him back in as well (though I know it wouldn't be his commentary). Quote
denbigh7 Posted September 1, 2021 Posted September 1, 2021 Ok, so I found the ch file slot for Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross. (I should have searched harder the first time.) However, when I try to open any of those 3 pac files in X-Packer, none of them will open. Doesn't matter which option I use, they won't open. But other ch pac files open just fine. Is this because it's a newer X-Packer than when this thread started a few years ago? But upon what a couple of people have said above, it looks as though commentators can be replaced. Just wondering if this is still possible? Has anyone else tried this recently? Quote
