TheRealSLR1990 Posted February 16, 2015 Posted February 16, 2015 (edited) Does anybody know how to make a Good Universe Mode (Roster, Belts, Rivalries, Teams & etc)? I tried a lot of times by making Raw and SmackDown had the same amount of Superstars, good rivalries, good teams and some good match but it seems to never work for me. So If there's anyone who plays WWE 2K15 (Last Gen and Next Gen Consoles, even though I have a Xbox 360 for now) and knows how to make a good universe mode that makes sense. the King Lives Posted February 17, 2015 Posted February 17, 2015 I don't mean to be rude but does anybody know how to make a good universe mode or not? the way i do it is i just edit all allies/rivalries. the problem is you will only get cutscenes in the last 3 matches whether u use the rivalry system or not. This is why i prefer the old way with how wwe12 was run, granted it was still considered Exhibition+ At the time but still had way more random cutscenes and they made sense. Hope this helps. Quote

I think the key to a good universe is having one really good overarching storyline that effects all the superstars on all brands. You have to use your imagination and think big. Currently Batista (present day) is my world champion and Batista 2003 is chasing the belt. He is being mentored by Ric Flair. Present day batista is working with his protege 2003 Randy Orton. present day batista understands to really understand his future he must confront his past. batista 2003 is young and hungry but he can be tempted and lose focus. 2003 Orton constantly brings divas like the Bella's around him. Current day Randy Orton is part of my new day faction so he doesn't really participate in this story. Randy Orton 2011 however is feuding with Flair. The question is can Batista 2003 turn back time and get his big run. Something present day batista is struggling with. His own mortality And age. It's deep stuff. Quote

What I'm trying to do is make a storyline that more complex and better than real life WWE but I have a hard time trying to found a starting point. that's why i hate that story designer is gone. because what i used to do is i'd record show intros from story designer, book my matches that i know wouldn't have cutscenes, and splice those matches with pre mid post stuff from story designer, hell i'd even add in backstage promos and such.
