talk about being rude no one was even talking to you and i wasn't even being rude to anyone but fine i'll leave you wanna be designers alone to argue about people stealing something that can't be stolen since it is a video game that you did not create.
fair point jeff and it is only a game at the end of the day but its a respectful thing to do to ask etc im not wanting an argument about it if people took logos of me i really wouldnt be to fussed im not the type of person to worry about it... But there are others who would be lol

tbh i'm just very high on manners when it comes to asking for things. I've had PM after PM asking me for logos/textures and barely ever is there a 'please' or 'thank you' in them. I wont even reply to those people, because they clearly have no respect for me or the hours i've spent making something. They just see me as a shortcut. Of course if people ask me nicely, and are people I know and respect, then i'll be more inclined to work with them.
okay that's acceptable and i know people would steal stuff off cc and just upload it as their own and yeah that does pose a problem. I guess i didn't see it from that perspective just as someone that has a hard time getting a certain design done right and someone else does it better. But what you are saying does make sense.If i offended you dyno or anyone else i apologize i really didn't think of it that way. Mostly i get stuff just for my own universe(s) and don't think about the large scale side of things such as people stealing to upload as their own.

Theres no need to get on at him after he knew what exactly everyone was on about and even apologised so lets move forward from bitching at jeff and chill out

well maybe you shouldn't be so effin stingy when creating stuff.. i've seen you create caws plenty of times in the past but not even bother uploading the logos or textures. nWo hogan ring a bell? I could say the same for a few others as well. So don't try to play the victim here.

..and why do you need to even rip off someone's? Can't make them yourself? His CAW's not good enough for you that already have them on it, but his logo's are? *talk about a slap in the face*

If it's public textures pulled from the games, you should be able to find them as easy as anyone else can (search engines work wonders). Why does he need to do that work for you? Get off your dead ass and find them yourself (you know, like how that guy just easily found that Titus texture). If it's something he took the time to pull references and look at references he pulled himself and re-create them in Photoshop, he has every right to chose if his CAW's are the only ones that have his hard work on them (or if he doesn't mind them being used with credit). It's not his job to make up for your lack of ability to draw or use Photoshop. If his CAW's aren't good enough for you to use and not need to take his logos, then his logo's shouldn't be either. He has the choice if he'd like to share or help you...or not. You don't like it, get to cracking on learning Photoshop and how to do a Google Image search, then you have no reason to complain. Did Van Gogh share his art with every painter, letting them claim it as their own??

And you might not have recently...but you still once did. People don't forget...that red flag is still sticking out of your ass crack in the rear of your pants...along with the shoe someone shoved up it when you were caught.

I have never created something and uploaded it anywhere without posting proper credit. and the only person whose stuff i ever used as mine was Tekken's Hogan and dr.Vries lex luger and that was years ago. People like that are the absolute bain of my life, especially when they make zero contribution, and spend the majority of the time lurking. Like the other day when Shattered posted a DLC code, free to the first person who saw it. The post has 5 reply's and 210 views. That's fucking insane! How much do you wanna bet at least 150 of those 210 people tried to input the code? Something else that's real..............

For creating something in a video game? Really? unless you aren't credited it's not considered stealing. It's a fact look it up.

This is my favourite bit. Like if someone steals my bike and credits me for buying it, they somehow haven't stolen my bike.

Well, if truth applies, many of the logos aren't being created in the video game anymore, so it's a moot point. They are being created in Photoshop by the person's hands (or hands controlling a mouse, pen, etc).

But the truth is it's not stealing if credit is being given (in all places it is manually released for use or shown)...i.e, you can't just credit on Smacktalks in a preview topic, but put them on PSN/XBLive and not credit there...still is stealing unless credits are in the place you also released it to the public. Otherwise, that would be like writing a book that has all references cited in the first draft...but when you publish it, omitting and and trying to say it wasn't plagiarizing because your first edit had the references (though the published one doesn't).

i think that's why i haven't bothered with making that many topics. Can't remember what topic it was i made and it was a while ago, but i created something in 2k14 or maybe WWe 13 and i had like 100 views and only 1 reply.

same with my 2k15 videos. I have 148 views and 5 comments (all positive i may add.) it's like people are scared to post comments. Everything i've every downloaded, be it 2k15, 14, 13, 12 or even svr11, i've always left a comment as well as upvoted/given the proper amount of stars on community creations.

My comments were more about Rocky's comments of taking pics of people's CAWs and using them, not yours. The ones for you were only about the "people being stingy" sharing comment you made at dyno (keep in mind, I hardly shared mine either, so that comment loosely does direct at me too, as well as several makers...I am one of those "stingy" people you referred to) and the "it's made in a video game, so it's not really stealing". Beyond that, it's just me throwing in opinion about the topic, not directed at you specifically. It's not like I haven't been a top CAW maker for over 10 years or anything who's spent years battling people about what stealing is...lol. Don't keep thinking I'm directing my thoughts at you specifically. The "Smacktalks posting and online crediting" thing was just a general comment about what technically could be viewed as stealing people's work (not crediting the released version people are viewing online on PSN/XBLive).

You were warned to stop doing this. So when daveawesomeone posted his Seth Rollins today I noticed it looked a lot like my original one except he credited you with making it. Dave was nice enough to share the logo with me and I'll let everyone here be the judge.

Posted a preview of my TBK face only... Some guy looked up my username stole my logos including some attire work and shipped out a caw zero credit given meanwhile I continue to craft my caw and will be working on it for a few more days. Meanwhile some douche profits off of my work. Not that I'm too worried as the cream always rises to the top but the community at large (not necessarily smack talks by any means) really shows little to no respect for the people actually putting in work.

You really have to be careful with uploading logos if you don't want them stolen. You need to be like a ninja. Get them up and down within 30 seconds and they generally don't get nabbed that way - server permitting.

Yh I uploaded some logos people used them without crediting me it's fucking annoying when people do that especially when I spend time making the logos I don't mind people using them but credit would be nice so I decided if I upload logos is to download them and delete them straight away in that case no one will never take my work without crediting and rocky you should know better than that to take someone's work without crediting
