That's definitely stealing. There's a reason people don't share logos and it's because people will take them without giving credit and then just throw them around for everyone else to use. If you want to make CAWs or mods then you should be willing to put the time into it rather than taking someone else's shit without even asking. It's bad manners and it's lazy.

i really don't call it lazy.  It's no different than putting stuff on cc. Plus as i just stated to Dyno you creators think that just cause you create something you should be awarded a medal or something. For creating something in a video game? Really? unless you aren't credited it's not considered stealing. It's a fact look it up.  In this case i'm sorry but i have to go on the offensive because i will be doing this (for my own personal creating purposes not for the whole world to see) For the most part i do get my own logos and designs but in rare cases there are some i can't find.. But Fufu and Dyno if this offends you two that much guess i'll stick to chris spiritos images that he's provided and i'll keep asking him to make more for me in his spare time.

If I wanted to put my logos on CC, I would put them on CC. Someone else putting my logos on CC, specifically without asking or crediting, is essentially just piggybacking off my hard work. I know you don't understand this premise, having never contributed anything of any time or effort, but it's the way most real creators feel. There is a level of respect and trust between the majority of the top creators in this community. It's not a stingy thing, it's about sharing logos or formulas behind closed doors to avoid cheap knock offs and low quality CAWs clogging up the servers.

I especially cannot stand when, after giving people movesets, some upload them and act like they made the moveset. leech, as fufu says. The worst people in the game, and even in society in general. 

 

I get what ya mean, like i was playing online against someone that had one my original CAW and after the match i sent him a message thanks for DL'n my CAW and then he messaged back acted like he didn't DL it and made it himself. But it was obviously mine my texture logos i uploaded and placed in the exact same way mine was lol. If i was to do something like this i would atleast edit it and make it a little different rather adding something extra to it or simply changing the colors.  But majority of the logos on there can be found on the web anyways if u search for them. Or simply go back to the the CC and find the CAW u downloaded that had the logos on there and send a message to the original uploader and ask if he can send u the logo or ask where he got it from.

yeah but i'm not even talking about uploading it as my own to share with the community. if anything it would be a temporary upload till i can download it into my game. after the logos are on my save i'm not one to upload someone else's stuff i never have and never would. I was more or less trying to justify why the person would want to do it. It's no different than when BrienJ had the pt editor or arena injector and no one every objected to that ever. I am the last person to not respect someone for their hard work everyone that i know from this forum that uploads stuff whether good or bad whether accurate or creative i always leave a positive comment and a "thanks for all your hard work" and @Fufu i am way less than a leech. Just cause i don't post my creations on here does not mean i am not a creator.  I've been making creations in these games since WWF War Zone. lol. I just choose not to upload my stuff because 1. I don't want my stuff stolen for the sake of people just uploading it and not giving any credit at all. and 2. 2K loves deleting shit for no reason.  I understand the point of working hard and not wanting stuff taken and reuploaded because that annoys me more than anything but take for example. I posted a request for someone to get me Titus O'Neil's PTP Tight designs and shirt designs no one responded yet that thread got 147 or something views. Now if i see some titus o'neil design uploaded yet i like the design but not something else about it, i'm one to take the logo, extract it and upload it to cc so i can download and adjust. I'm not leaving that logo up forever. So you also have to look at it from another point of view. Some of you not all can be very snobbish when just trying to make a request. I remember on XHP a few people over there got an attitude cause i asked for someone to fix my wwe12 PT File for some wcw logos. I know for a fact it would have taken maybe 5 seconds to do so. But because at the time i was new to the whole modding community, and no one knew me they turned their nose up at me and got an attitude.

 

I've seen others do the same thing. Charging for editors, etc etc etc. Like i said i understand the point of view but still. I would never take someone's stuff without Permission anyway but for the sake of argument:

 

@Mr. Electricity it's just some logos/refs i haven't been able to find like O'Neil's PTP attire it's either too blurry or nonexistent (although i could try videos) Some uploaders don't upload logos at all. But it is a bit more convenient this year since if you're editing a caw you can still use said logos as long as you haven't deleted them from the caw.
