Beyond The Ropes Posted January 12, 2015 Posted January 12, 2015 I know Universe mode has always been very random and kind of hit or miss most of the time, but today I got the most random scene. It was HHH vs. Batista on Main Event, just after Batista entered Vince comes walking out to be in his corner. Meanwhile, Michael Cole on commentary is telling the fans tuning in that the Royal Rumble winner is making his way to ringside and we could find out who he will be facing at WrestleMania! Haha And if that wasn't weird enough...I had CM Punk win the rumble in my universe just a month before that happened and he hadn't been booked on a single show since...damn you Vince! Quote

The ref randomly grabbed a kendo stick and hit Cena while he was down and counted to 10. It wasn't even a cutscene. Quote

Lol speaking of odd, i for the life of me still can't figure out how to get the debut superstar and debut tag team (caws) stories to work.. it requires a caw but no matter what i try it won't let me select them. which is about as odd as the Tag Betrayal 1-3 stories. they say the tag partners need to be in the middle of the rankings so i tried to do it with Big Show/Henry, and it kept only letting me select the Usos.. so then i moved the usos to #1 of the tag rankings, and put show/henry where usos were and it's still selecting the damn usos.. it just doesn't make any effing sense. I simmed PPVS(not watching/playing) and I got Sin Cara beating Cena in number of world titles, Darren Young defending the whc for two years, Brock feuding with El Torito, Santino going over Rock at Summerslam, and more goodness Quote

Beyond The Ropes Posted January 13, 2015 Author Posted January 13, 2015 (edited) Damn, I started to feel like I had run into every little problem in the game already, but those story lines worked fine for me the first time around. I haven't tried them again since, so I wonder if they're messed up. Normally I just assume that anything made for CAW's is half assed as opposed to the in-game guys like the secret and special rivalries are. Even those ones clearly didn't take too much effort.
