Tutorial on adding Superstars without Dlc Characters

Just not happening for me

I've tried different PACH inside a different PAC file, named correctly as 00011302 (Pac is ch113.pac)

I'm satisfied that the save file editing is ok - the added guy appears on the roster list, I can edit his moveset and info in My WWE

The arc file must surely be ok because I'm updating with XPacker 9, so I'm not doing anything manually, and I've double-checked that I'm giving the correct line in the def file as reference too

That just leaves the def file:

Bro try with this plist.arc file

http://www65.zippyshare.com/v/XmQ0ajiO/file.html

tell me if it works

What did you add to the end of the arc before 113.pac's entry?

It kind of works now, so thanks for that.

There is a slight problem however. I've added Brave's Taz mod and when I try some things during a match (pull the other guy to his feet, irish whip, pinfall) Taz falls over!

Is this the DLC method that's caused this, the Taz mod, something else...?

Bro i saw yout plist.def and plist arc file, and i saw that you had an entry in your plist.def file before the last entry (ch113) that wasn't in your plist.arc file. You must have the same entries on both files  :)

I am glad to know you solve the problem

For the problem of Tazz the main reason is that the wrestler don't have a correct moveset, try to change his moveset and if it still doesn't work you must add this wrestler into other slot. i had the same problem in a couple of wreslters and i solved it adding this wrestlers into other slots.

Tell me if it's work bro

Seriously thanks a lot for that mate - about the moveset, is it worth just extracting any working moveset from anyone and injecting it into his slot?

Yes bro , try injecting another moveset, but if you don't wanna loose your time, the best solution for that is inject the wrestler into another slot.

 Section 1:

-Editing the SaveData.dat

-Editing the Catalog.dlc

-Rebuilding the DLC package

-Rebuilding the Save file

-Editing the strings.pac

Section 2:

-Editing the arc files

-Editing the def files

So we need to do everthing after rebuilding the dlc package? Rebuilding the save file, editing the strings, editing def and arc files?

Yeah only this is you dont need to edit the catalog file mate as it is not needed in this process.... Edited by MDTornado

The process is the same as the tutorial that I and miztah posted on adding wrestlers as dlc. As mdtornado stated, the only difference is that the catalog files don't need to be edited and the dlc pack should be set to zero.

Everything else must be done including adding the movesets.

Hey quick tip for those that use divas. Switch john Cenas pofo/ch.pac/renders(optional) with Aj Lee's and you can add new superstars and divas as non dlc.

Had a little bit time today to see what exactly the problem is and also updated my game with title update and to my surprise after title update, strings are working.

We must have title update installed if we want to rename strings.
