can the AI do reversals u can't

Yeah i was playing online and my opponent had left and i was facing the AI in his place, and i had him in a grapple system i won and had him in a headlock. and u know how u can hit X A or B to wear them down in the move, well i hit X to do the hitting move but when i did he block the punch and attacked me. I have never seen anybody do it an it doesn't show a reversal pop up during the grapple section plus i just kept trying to hit reverse hoping that it might do it but never did. 

 

i remember one time during one of them the person had the grapple on me in the laying down position and when i won the fill up thing and went to transition into the next hold i was able to slide right out the ring because i was next to it.

yes, they can cheat basically in the tie-up game

Don't worry I experienced this as well it's kinda annoying
