fufu ÷ Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 How do you actually use them? They never even bother to get up on the apron or try to stop pins. Are there any controls for them? Or are they just useless eyecandy? Quote
Bob_Van_Dam Posted December 20, 2014 Posted December 20, 2014 You need the mouthpiece ability... I think. Quote
Mystiquε Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 I was messing around so I've tried to grapple the manager & then a sweet little animation went down where he started giving me advice & stuff. Quote
fufu ÷ Posted December 21, 2014 Author Posted December 21, 2014 But do they just do it automatically, or is there a way of making them jump up? I really wanna smack people with chairs when the ref aint looking. Quote

D-Driller Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Pretty sure u cant. It was the same buttons as it was to get your tag team partner in, and they took that out too I been rocking a manager all of mycareer so i know mate. Quote
Beyond The Ropes Posted December 21, 2014 Posted December 21, 2014 Yeah, I was beyond pissed when they took out the ability to control cpu partners/managers. Nonetheless, I find it easier to use an opponents manager/partner(s) against them than I do to use your own to any kind of advantage. When you have a manager they are very unpredictable, but when your opponent has one, you can count on them to distract the ref up to 3 times when you go for a pinfall or submission that could presumably win you the match. (They won't even acknowledge a pin or submission if you weren't able to win from it.) So, all you have to do is hit a strong move on the opponent, then go for the pin until you see the ref turn to argue on the apron, that's when you let go of the pin/submission and grab a weapon. I should add that it's necessary that you grab the weapon(s) of choice beforehand so you can be as quick as possible. Quote
