DANIELakaDEE Posted December 12, 2014 Posted December 12, 2014 (edited) Might wanna pin this..as it will help others out greatly... When applying a face texture..or any textures for that matter..but especially for the face textures...do all your transparency on photoshop, or on whatever program your using..after you apply the face texture on your caw..then save the caw..go back into your caw & you will see the true form of your caw..no matter wat your caw looks like before doing this step..it wont matter until u save it...so dnt waste your time applying everything on your caw, until you have done this process..after seeing the true form of your caw, you might or will probably have to mess around on photoshop a little more to get your face texture just right..color & transparency wise to get it jus right.... some think by doing the skin, or adding a logo or taking something off fixes it...but it doesn't. ..you have to do it the way I'm telling you..anytime you want to see wat your caw really looks like...jus go back into your caw, after saving it....hope this helps everyone out... you're welcome ( : Edited December 12, 2014 by DanielakaDee Quote

DANIELakaDEE Posted December 28, 2014 Author Posted December 28, 2014 I'm bumping this topic, only because I've had ppl asking me on how to get that face textures right...color wise etc etc...hope this helps, the ones asking & others that dnt know. Quote
mrelectriccity Posted December 28, 2014 Posted December 28, 2014 so does this fix the distortion and blurring? because i know most of the time i can have the face perfectly lined up but the right side will be real stretched out. or when trying to had side face if u dont do the whole side of the head the image will start appearing on the other side unless its so tiny that it doesn't even look right Quote
DANIELakaDEE Posted December 29, 2014 Author Posted December 29, 2014 (edited) The patch should've fixed the right side of the face for u to be honest. .it stretches on both sides now..like the outside of the face..but this really only happens, depending on how big your face texture/textures are...the distortion, might be the textures your using..or u might not be doing the way I explained up above. ....every time I make someone...I save them first, before I apply anything. ..that way I get the true look of the caw.....when making a caw, anytime you change the hair/facial hair/skin color it makes the textures etc dark or discolored...a lot of people think by adding a logo & removing it fixes it...but it doesn't....the reason a lot of people's caws come out with white faces etc...is because their not seeing the true look of their caw...anything that u do in caw mode..just save your caw...then go back into it...you will then see what your caw really looks like & what others see...but there is quite a few caws, that looks good in menu picture. .or looks good on downloading screen...but when u go play with it..all you see is white face, or discolored. .or a white chest from a chest texture..thats because they just dnt know about it...or they think by doing the add logo thing etc fixes it...but it doesn't!!....just follow the steps up above...should help u out. openurlife Posted December 29, 2014 Posted December 29, 2014 Ok I'm a little confused. I put my face on the caw. Saved it, went back to add hair saved it. went back to change the color of the hair but then it make my face dark. Do I put the hair on first color it, save it and then do my face and save it? Quote
DANIELakaDEE Posted December 29, 2014 Author Posted December 29, 2014 To be honest it doesn't matter...when u change the hair color or facial hair, or skin...it will change yes...but it doesn't matter....just go back into your caw after saving it..then everything will go back the way it was, before you changed hair color etc etc..textures wise.....another way of doing it is, when u change the hair/skin/facial hair... apply a facial hair..save the facial hair, dnt change it..just save it...then delete the facial hair & your true look of the caw will come back also..that way u dnt have to save the caw every time & go back into...saves u a little bit of time doing it that way....no matter how u end up doing it, when you're finally done making your caw..or adjustments you have made...before uploading or playing with your caw, just go back into your caw in caw mode..& you will see what your caw actually looks like & how others will see it as well. VLine90 Posted December 30, 2014 Posted December 30, 2014 Still been trying to do this but can't get close. Anyone got a tutorial on how to create your face texture so it will work in game, nothing from Youtube in-depth enough to help newbs like me from the very start of the process. Been killing me, really want to play MyCareer but don't want to start until my face is in the game. Would much prefer an EA Gameface like feature as people who can't use photo editing software are screwed Quote
