texture transparency - does it even work?

next gen users, have you ever had any problems adding tattoo textures etc. to flesh and adding trans to it? I've done it a few times, saved the caw and then later the trans has disappeared and I'm left with a big black tattoo like any online personal caw circa 2012!

You could try lowering the opacity in an image editing software then put it ingame

Yeah, fair point man, but one of the selling points of the game was the texture importing and transparency, and it keeps messing up for me. Pretty ridiculous really.

Yeah, I know what you mean. When they delayed the game you would think that they would fix these sorts of bugs.

i had a problem with it before the patch (i'm on ps4) but it seemed to work now i've used it on the tattoos, logos and face textures and it didn't reset in the entrances.  But others are saying that it doesn't work so maybe i shouldn't have said anything lol

It doesn't dude, at all. it just adds a glow to the face & thats it.

i'm talking post patch not before.. and i'm talking about with my face texture the transparancy worked.  Trust me i know cause my skin tone is a real hard mix and i had to blend the texture in with the tone with help of the transparancy

It works for you but once other ppl dl it or play with you online they wont see the transparency at all.

well i don't use online and haven't uploaded anything but edited superstars to CC so i can't speak for that.  All i know is it works fine in game, in entrances, and in every mode i've used. ah well.  2 months till Xenoverse anyway then i won't have to worry about this game too much LOL

You have to do transparency on Photoshop b4 bringing it over to the game...only in game logos work with in game transparency..I fig that one out on like day 2 of the game being out...frustrating I kno.....if anyone wants to kno how their caws really looks...jus save ur caws after doing stuff to it...then go back into the caws...u will see wat it really looks like to everyone one else...once u fig out that...u won't have any problems anymore...so just go back into your caw..then do your editing...remember. .u have to do all your editing etc, after u have saved your caw...that's the only way to see your true form of your caws.

well maybe SMK added transparency to my face texture, IDK and i'm not a photoshop expert.
