MKC318403 Posted December 8, 2014 Posted December 8, 2014 (edited) (I haven't seen one setup so thought I would do the honour as could be fun to share hints, tips etc). Looking to install a total gym in my spare room, anyone used it before? currently using it? was thinking of using it in place of the gym as from what I can tell would make for a good multipurpose device/good alternative. prowrestling Posted December 9, 2014 Posted December 9, 2014 All you need to get fit is your body weight, I would invest money into one or a pair of "adjustable" dumbbells (not the expensive, fancy kind, the old school ones) and pull up bar to start. Also you have to ask yourself what are your fitness goals. A lot of people don't know what they are training for and that's why they fall for gimmicks. The machine you posted up makes me upset, because most machine are inferior and are scams. All it takes to get in shape is a vision and dedication. Anything you want to know about exercise, please ask. Quote

MKC318403 Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) Thanks for the advice guys, however managed to order a TG for a pretty decent price and have to say quite impressed with it, not sure it will replace the gym but it's good as part of morning routine etc A number of work out videos on Youtube also help... so yeah, for the money not a bad buy at all. MKC318403 Posted December 11, 2014 Author Posted December 11, 2014 (edited) Been using this every morning to exhaustion, working out really well in my opinion! Random question is it better to take protein shakes before or after work out? Edited December 11, 2014 by MKC318403 Quote
