A few good CAWs will always come even with limitations. However there are far more people who the mode doesn't lend itself to than those that it does.

Exactly my point days ago, its not about getting used to it, you cant get used to having the eyes of doom and the same fucking head shape for EVERYONE!

Textures will mask (literally) shit morph options until its patched or next game.

Well looks like I was right that a texture could make up for some of the morphing system's flaws. Great Balor! Is there a possible tutorial you could create on how to make such great face textures on next gen?

I don't think the texture makes up for anything, there's just some guys that the templates will lend themselves to. 

The only thing that made up for the morphing system flaws (and texture placement flaws) is Defract.

Could have just as easily put a shit texture on and it would look shit. 

It's not the texture or the system that made this caw good, it's the caw maker. 

There are going to be certain guys that will never look good, regardless of any texture you can put in the game.

I haven't got a clue how to make any logos or face textures with photoshop, gimp or whatever. I know many on these forums know this stuff like the back of their hand but I'd love to find a great tutorial for us novices out there. I just want to get my face in the game and I'm getting nowhere with the current vids on Youtube.

 

I'm so new to all this I don't even know how you guys take screenshots from your gameplay. I've made plenty of Superstar edits and would love to share but I'm sure these photos aren't just taken with a mobile phone...

So I have a love hate relationship with this years mode. On the plus side, textures look great and have a good resolution to them.

 

On the flip side morphing is in a word... shite!
