Universe question regarding Stories

So I'v simulated 4 years and unlocked 860 stories but I'm not able to select some (Not just the ones that are superstar specific) For instance I am debuting my CAW on a NXT show I've created and the Story under "Other Rivalries" "Dominant Debut" is grayed out. 

 

Can someone explain why certain stories (besides those that aren't superstar specific) are grayed out?

 

Does it have to do with the fact that there is only a check mark in the Clue box but not Played box?

 

Should I simulate more years in order for these grayed stories to be played so both the Clue and Played boxes are checked? 

 

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

im having similar issue

how do I play the secret rivalries and special ones for example

they are greyed out as well

I had no trouble when debuting my first CAW, but the second one did exactly as you said. I have no clue why...

As for the secret and special rivalries, from my experience you must make sure that both competitors are on the same show, AND in the same ranking for whichever title you choose. (It doesn't have to be for the title as some of them are specifically for the #1 contenders spot. Such as Daniel Bryan and Cesaro.)

Try setting them near each other in the rankings and then checking back to see.

Well that's just weird. Not sure what I can do here. This is so silly. lol

I played through exactly one whole year from the start and I only missed a single secret story.

Just try making them rivals and whatnot, try to set up the scenario it states in the description, and if it's a special historic rivalry then perhaps it has to do with the month or something? I don't know...

I have done the "What if? The Undertaker vs John Cena" rivalry at the first WrestleMania. Just set up the rivalry on the beginning of Wrestlemania month for "What if? Vs. The Undertaker" rivalries.

Also I did the Ryback vs Mark Henry and the Alberto Del Rio vs Rey Mysterio rivalries. (Which the computer set up the Del Rio/Mysterio one by itself..)

tried setting undertaker and Daniel bryan/john cena in same championship rankings,

once march came around both options to either use the royal rumble winner in title rivalry, and or use the rr winner against undertaker, options popped up

of which I chose no. should I have chosen yes?

 

wound up being greyed out, when it comes to setting up special and what if scenario rivalries, so they are still unable to play or use

 

ill keep you posted.

anyone have any ideas to try?
