Just did a quick test for the PPV themes on 360. Keep in mind that having rivalries on will trump most of these.
 

ROYAL RUMBLE

Books Royal Rumble as main event, books 1v1 World Title as midcard match

 

ELIMINATION CHAMBER

Books EC Match for Main event, favors EC match for midcard title defenses

 

WRESTLEMANIA

Favors Undertaker v Brock Lesnar in a gimmick match. Favors First Blood 1v1 (World)

 

EXTREME RULES

Books Extreme Rules for Main, favors FCA 1v1 (US)

 

PAYBACK

Books Last Man Standing 1v1 (World) for Main, favors Triple Threat (Divas), favors gimmick matches in general

 

MONEY IN THE BANK

Books a MITB Main, Normal 1v1 World Title defense in Midcard

 

SUMMERSLAM

Books a Regular 1v1 Main (World), favors regular 1v1, Tag, and Triple Threat matches, avoids gimmick matches

 

NIGHT OF CHAMPIONS

Books a Regular 1v1 Main (World), tends to book 1v1 for midcard, avoids gimmick matches.

 

BATTLEGROUND

Favors Fatal 4 Way (World) for Main, Favors Extreme Rules Triple Threat (US)

 

HELL IN A CELL

Favors HIAC match for Main Event and Title Matches

 

SURVIVOR SERIES

Books basic 1v1 World Title main event, favors 1 midcard Triple Threat title defense

 

TLC

Books TLC 1v1 (World) for Main Event, favors Table and TLC matches for midcard title defenses and rivalries


Wanted to know what the themes really did, and this is what it seems to be. Not sure why WM favors a 1v1 First Blood so bad!

I'm assuming that the PPV Themes are not in Next Gen Universe mode then. That's a shame..

 

Also kind of a shame that when I come on here with some original, and hopefully helpful, information, the one solitary reply is something completely off topic and not relevant to the discussion. Meh.

I know last yr on 360 when selected PPV them it gave you sn idea of what match types were favoured.

Only for the extra ones, like "Endurance" and "No Man's Land". It doesn't tell you any of the above for the normal PPV themes... and I had to sim 10+ years of Universe to figure them out.
