happened on xbox 360 i was downloading a caw and the screen froze i reset console and the caws were gone and everything defaulted this happened on wwe 2k14 as well last year luckily i can re download the caws but it now makes you wait to download them all damn time monitor its bs as far as that goes.

 

I think it's something to do with cloud saves and going online. It seems to happen when people sign into Live. If you were to play offline only, you'd probably keep your data. My Career can be really buggy online too, but absolutely fine offline.

It happened to my brother. He has the Digital Deluxe so he downloaded the The Sting and Hogan packs, uninstalled the game, reinstalled it then now its working. He backed out of the game and restarted to make sure it works and it works again.

If you changed games or turned it off while the little circle save icon was spinning, then it will corrupt the data and delete it. That's the only logical reason I can give you.

So , I guess I found a work around for this. Not a good one, but I guess it'll do for now. I noticed that hitting B on the main menu and returning to the title screen was erasing my data. I tried quitting the game right from the menu screen and when I Restarted it all my date was saved. But when I go to the title screen and restart everything gets wiped(which is so dumb I can't even...)

So if I ever accidentally hit b on the main menu all my data will be erased again, while I'm happy for the time being that my stuff is saving, it's not the best option because I know it's only a matter of time that I accidentally return to the title screen or drop my controller and b gets hit and wipe everything again. 2k needs to patch this ASAP.
