How to compress pac file into bpe?

I have uncompressed EVP file to change the slot number of the entrence objects, but now i wanna compress it into bpe file to copy manually the hex values into the entrance file.

how can i compress the EVP.pac file into EVP.bpe file?

If i compress it using .zlib the compressed file hasn't the bpe extension

Well, is not exactly a conversion to BPE, but is a manual conversion, and you get the same size with the file.
