Whether they're gone or still in you fail to understand that this is not the same game as the thq series. Yes I said that. 2k14-smackdownn1 was the thq series. They're building from the ground up. The news coming from this it seemingly worse and worse, but I think the Background matchmaking is Next-Gen Match Creator, so it could be possible to create certain matches that aren't on the menu. Seems odd that they'd removed certain matches though. Like multi-man variants of most one on one matches doesn't make a lot of sense to me. 

 

Seems to me that while they're making two steps forward in a lot of aspects, but they've took completely failed on a lot of things. It will be interesting to see how much long it takes for this game to get old for people. I'm still optimistic though.
