I agree. I think I'll like it and its a welcome change of pace. And its realistic, a lockup happens in almost every match.

yeah it needed to be optional for certain reasons:

1. not all people like it

2. some matches don't need it (specialty and tag matches)

3. Some people never chain grappled in their life

 

either way i'm glad to see the only difference I have to get used to is the chain grappling and the stamina/momentum

glad you can also still do transitional grapples (atleast it seemed like it from that video to me)

As a Jericho-fanboy, I'm fine with his face. It looks a tad too young, but superb overall. What really sticks out (to me atleast) is his updated torso. His upper body in previous games was so inaccurate it almost prevented me from playing as him. (I'm picky when it comes to things like that)

I'm shocked honestly that so many people are going to be turning off chain wrestling, I always find myself trying simulate chain wrestling on the previous games, I love the idea of this.

That really is a nice shift to see made. As someone who always plays with the HUDs off, signatures would end up being done so rarely that I just stuck them all in everyone's movesets as either groggy grapples if not just regular moves, so at least then they'd occasionally happen. Now, it doesn't seem like that will be an issue.

He's been doing it for a year
