Petition to patch the Shield's new music in

For those of us who are disappointed to hear that the Shield's new themes aren't in the game, please sign! Maybe if we show enough interest we can get the attention of 2K.

We, the WWE 2K fans, look forward to the many new features offered in the latest installment of the franchise, 2K15. We are especially excited for the new Super Studio mode which will allow us for the first time to fully customize the WWE roster with the most up-to-date attires and logos. This feature is particularly useful in modernizing the former Shield members, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins.

However, for those of us who appreciate the immersion offered by this great wrestling sim, it remains impossible, even with their new attires, to have fully updated versions of the former Shield. This is because the newest installment understandably lacks .mp3 support, thus disallowing us from utilizing custom entrance music for the roster. In order to rectify this situation, we ask that 2K Sports offer a patch including the updated entrance themes for Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins, and Roman Reigns, allowing us a full experience when playing with these superstars.

We understand that the absense of these themes may seem trivial to some, but for us, the immersion experience remains incomplete without proper entrance music. For 2K Sports, who are committed to emulating the WWE TV experience in video game form, adding the aforementioned themes to this year's game will go a long way in pleasing many WWE 2K fans.

We hope you consider this simple request, and we thank you for continuing to make great WWE games.

When did they say the new themes aren't in?

Marcus confirmed on 2K forums that they weren't in.

I'm usually not the one to go on this typical route but, there is no excuse for at least their themes to not be in as that is the most updated thing about these games.

Here is why.

Erick Rowan and Luke Harper's tag team theme "Swamp Gas" was released around the same time Seth Rolins, Dean Ambrose, and Roman Reigns single superstar themes were released, and they started using that on television before its release anyways. Here is the chronological order for the release date of recent themes of superstars that are in the game. The ones in bold are themes that are not in, which should be.

02/27/14: (Adrian Neville) "Break Orbit" by CFO$

02/27/14: (The Ascension) "Rebellion" by CFO$

02/27/14: (Paige) "Stars In the Night" by CFO$

02/27/14: (Rusev) "Рев на лъвът (Roar of the Lion)" by CFO$

02/27/14: (Summer Rae) "Rush of Power" by CFO$

02/27/14: (WWE NXT) "Roar of the Crowd" by CFO$

04/21/14: (Lana) "Внимание! (Attention!)" by CFO$

04/26/14: (Adam Rose) "Break Away" by CFO$

04/28/14: (Bo Dallas) "Shoot for the Stars" by CFO$

05/02/14: (Cesaro) "Swiss Made (2nd Version)" by CFO$

05/29/14: (Sami Zayn) "Worlds Apart" by CFO$

06/25/14: (Roman Reigns) "The Truth Reigns" by Jim Johnston

06/18/14: (Seth Rollins) "The Second Coming" (2nd Version) by CFO$

06/30/14: "Retaliation" Dean Ambrose by CFO$

06/30/14: (Erick Rowan & Luke Harper) "Swamp Gas" by Jim Johnston

The deadlines excuse shouldn't even be a factor here and neither should royalties as CFO$ made the themes.

Does anybody not remember how they were able to add "Cult of Personality" in WWE '12 after CM Punk debuted the music in August? A big blow really.

Deal with it and move on.

The game is based on last years mania to this years. That's why the shield aren't broken up and that's why they don't have the current themes. Crying like a baby isn't gonna change that.

Great point. Let's not forget about the last minute addition of "Burn in My Light" into the first SmackDown! vs. RAW as well. Sucks that they didn't add in the newer themes, but no petition is going to change that.

Only to you would someone making a valid and researched argument be considered 'crying like a baby.'

Well, obviously we're all coping and dealing with the situation. I'm guessing you had a special RSVP to the 2K board room production meetings and the inside scoop on the length of deadline seminars inside your head to be making bold assertions like that which at the end of the day can't be relayed anyways as the cutoff date obviously wasn't April 6th. How'd that go in fantasy land? Classic case of blowing steam out your ass.

Nobody is crying and it wasn't even a grievance like you assumed. If you actually took the time to actually skim over what I typed instead of wrapping quotes around it, I was simply listing the order at which the newer entrance themes that were confirmed to be in produced. Based on music file metadata, the OGG files for those three themes should have been included as extras even if the attires didn't make it in, especially given the timeframe of an added month, almost five months since the themes debut.

Shoulda, woulda, coulda. Sure it's silly. Maybe the concept of custom music is silly to you. Maybe aesthetics in general are as well. But, this isn't Jeff's game. This is the first year after five years where custom themes, which I might add were an integral part of the CAW structure, are confirmed not to be in. While of course the concept of a petition is far-fetched, a situation like adding their respective music files at least needed to be addressed. The fact that you think "I've got a bone to pick" may be relegated to your standards. Not mine.

FrickinAwesome; we all love Sunny's huge text's, but that gif kind of loses it's value when you use it every time Sunny posts about anything. I'm just saying.

It only comes out when someone actually puts in the effort to come up with an argument or retort that just blows your mind with how greatly detailed and lengthy it is. Unfortunately, it seems like Sunny is the only person that does that sort of thing.
