These are growing pains. The benefits outweigh the negatives for the long haul with what 2K have given us. Hopefully, they stay true to this instead of giving us false promises like Ledesma and his legionnaires. In this year alone, they have managed to pull off what THQ deemed illegal and was shunning for years.

Good to finally know what size logos are, or at what they can be. Any word on how many attires a caw can have this year? If 1 edited superstar attire takes up 1 caw slot, I'm guessing every caw has only 1 attire + entrance attire

 

They haven't said, but given everything else we've seen so far, I wouldn't bank on any more than one.

The logo size in particular makes me very happy that i've been making everything at triple size for the last year, so it'll all be usable by the sounds of it. Just wondering whether you can use eight 512s, or if it'll be two 512s.  The token thing is interesting too. I wonder how many of those will be available per day or whatever.

Anyway, Superstar Studio, amazing feature. However, no Divas? I'm not alleging sexism or anything, but if you're a female player who likes to create Diva CAW's, then it seems 2HQ have forgotten about you.

 

Yay! Let's edit some Superstars! Oh, what? I have to use a CAW slot? Cool.. I did that with Heads on last gen, it's no bother.... Huh? I only get 25 CAW slots?

 

Custom Arena is no longer included? They must have a good reason for this! After all, it was only made a feature because so many people asked for it. I'm gonna try to think of some 2HQ fan club logical explanation for this.. hold on a second.

I hope to fuck the Gameplay will redeem this game. My Career should be amazing, I can't wait to play as my custom Diva Character. I'm literally going to play through 15 years (at least that's what 2HQ said you could do?) And I hope to god I don't see any repetition. I want 15 years worth of original cut-scenes/scenarios for my character. If not, then why the fuck would you want to play through 15 years?

Yeah, i think they just mean if the logo uploaded is smaller then that, it will automatically place it into a 512 sized logo

Titan, the only justification I can give is for Create-an-Arena as that was a popular feature. Apart from that, I would see custom stories as a good pastime on YouTube but you could get that same fix from Universe Mode.

(I know OTE has done some exceptional work on the Tube. No knock on him. He is on another level. Hard to follow that.)

I don't want to play devil's advocate here, but really? Do we need all that customization? Sure, don't remove, but improve but let's see our options. I know people love to utilize it with Universe, etc, etc. but it's not a necessity. Of course, it is a controversial decision but you're expecting too much off their first iteration on a newly incorporated engine. It's an unfair comparison at the end of it all given the time constraints they have.

Besides,

C-A-F was a pain to work with. It felt unnatural to the in-game moves that were available for selection as motion capture. It would have been a great feature on SmackDown! Shut Your Mouth. Don't get me wrong.

Create a Championship was a rehashed version from SvR 2006 and even with the inclusion of paint tool, it still paled in comparison. Besides, they give us a plethora of titles to choose from in the game anyways. I hear the only title missing from the game is the Million Dollar Championship.

The brunt of the attention, the main focus should always be the CAWS.

I'm all for giving the game a chance, because it's a new game, and as I've said before, I'm not an advocate for either game this year as I'll be playing both. But yeah, when you're used to so much creative freedom in a WWE game, you do need all that customisation. It's why 50% of the fan base buy the game in the first place. They're trying to develop a Sports franchise. It's plain to see that. Only, it's not a Sports franchise, it's an Entertainment franchise.

Yeah, from the sound of that article, the concept of Superstar Threads has been meshed with the overall editing of the wrestler.

im happy only because i dont use none of them feats they took out anyways. Only one i did use was Create A Finisher which they took that out all together old gen & new gen versions. And on the superstar edit says we can change their clothes, does that mean any clothes we want because in 2k14 u could change their attitre but only the ones they had set up for u by default like a certain shirt or different design on pants or underwear etc. And if u can add any clothing u want can u also add logos to them?

You have to remember this is being built on a brand new engine, you can't simply copy and paste game mechanics like Create a Arena / Finisher and so fourth and this also means that you can't assume things from the older game will work exactly like in the older game (e.g. the logos). 

^^ This. Im not getting on the fanboy wagon and blindly supporting 2k's decisions but people have to accept that this is a brand new game so features werent removed they just werent added. That has to be due to time constraints and is the price that had to be paid for moving to the next generation of console.
