Since a lot of serious Sarahs (credit Joey) get their panties in a bunch all the time over the littlest things, I thought it might be nice to discuss what you think is and isn't acceptable to say, joke about or discuss. It seems like people want to shut down the right to make a joke about certain subjects, but where exactly do you draw the line? Is it even right to draw a line? Is it everything or nothing? Race, sexuality, gender, religion, etc. Which is fair game and which is a nono. Should freedom of speech actually give you freedom of speech? Go right ahead and say whatever the fuck you want, you Nazi fuckers.

If someone feels offended, then you should, in most cases, stop offending them.

But what about those who get offended at things not aimed at them? Should they get preferential treatment because of something you say to somebody else, even if that person is fine with it?

Seriously, this is the goddamn internet. If you're taking what some virtual person says too seriously, you need to just leave. Especially this place with some of the members. Perhaps a well thought out and logical explanation could be acceptable and would potentially lead to THE PERSON not being shit on for it. There are some lines I don't cross as I don't want them crossed with me and that's a personal guideline, nothing more. Some kids are too goddamned uppity and need top learn the difference between good fun ribbing and really going for blood. Like Aero... that fucking cuntsniffer.

Being offended is fine, whatever sorry you didn't get the joke but coming back to the topics saying nonsense like "you're not funny" or "you think you're really god" is just asking for trouble
