If you bought the Season Pass or any other DLC for WWE 2K15 on PS3/Xbox 360, this doesn’t transfer over to the PS4/Xbox One versions of the game.

WWE 2K15 community manager, Marcus Stephenson, confirmed this on his official Twitter account. If you bought the Season Pass or any other DLC for the game on previous-gen consoles, you cannot transfer this data to the next-gen consoles if you decide to upgrade. Stephenson said you have to “re-purchase the DLC“.

Even if the Season Pass DLC on WWE 2K15 is used on the same gamer profile, the data cannot be transferred. If you bought the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game, you are stuck with its DLC too unless you buy it all over again for PS4 and Xbox One.

Some other publishers have offered an upgrade program, although it looks like 2K Games isn’t doing something similar for WWE 2K15. If you want to upgrade to the PS4/Xbox One versions, you still have to pay full price for the game and all of the DLC too.

Stephenson confirmed an upgrade program won’t happen at all in a separate tweet. For those of you that bought WWE 2K15 on PS3/Xbox 360 and were disappointed with it, it might have been better just to wait for the PS4/Xbox One editions coming November 18th.

Think you can say that like 20 more times?

I'm not sure if the people on the WII got the memo

Who really expected it though? 2K'd never be that kind xD

Well, given the choice between customer satisfaction and a giant pile of money, what do you think 2K's gonna lean toward?
