How Exactly...

Can someone tell me how exactly you hack SD!2? I understand No Mercy because you plug it into the Gameshark, so you could use the code generator/memory editor while playing, but how exactly do you do it for SD!2? Do you need that Gameshark buff that plugs into the back of an old PS that plays burned games to use the memory ediror? Or can you do it with a normal Gameshark? If you need the Gameshark memory card, please tell me, because I have Codebreaker, and I want to hack SD!2 myself, just to experiment.

SD2 works the same way where you plug it into the back. People have been known to make codes with the CD version, but it's pretty much working off other peoples addys and using offsets.

I think you make make codes on an emulator as well.

Ok. So I need to get the thing that plugs into the back. My friend has a "GameKiller," that plugs into the back of a PS, it can also play burned games and I'm pretty sure it has a memory editor built in it, cause it has this one button that he doesn't know what it does, but a whole bunch of hex appears on the screen, should that work?

It should work I'd have thought. Has it got a code generator too? Always good to have a starting point for the memory editor.

I'm pretty sure it has a code generator.

It's a good thing it can also play burned games, my bro lost my copy, and my friend has a burned copy.

P.S. If anyone has used a device like this, can you use the code generator like an N64 one like it was used for No Mercy?

I havn't hacked No Mercy, but I'm pretty sure it works the same way.
