LastRide123 Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 Sorry if this has been answered. I know they confirmed the game was in 1080p, so why does it say on PSN 720p? Is it just not updated or whats the deal? I only ask cuz if i can preload and play it early rather than wait and get the disc. I want 1080p and if the digital version somehow isnt then i want to get the disc. Quote
jitz Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 It hasn't been updated since the day they put it up there. It'll be 1080p. Quote
Nothing Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 When it was listed, 1080p wasn't confirmed yet so they probably just listed 720p and haven't updated the listing. There shouldn't be a difference in resolution between the retail and digital, I've never heard of such a thing. Quote
bluemonkeymagic Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 I've seen this for a couple of other games, listed as 720p by mistake Quote
LastRide123 Posted November 7, 2014 Author Posted November 7, 2014 Alright, thanks guys. I wasnt sure, it didnt make sense to me either to have two different resolutions. I appreciate the feedback. Quote
bluemonkeymagic Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 You're welcome, if you're on ps4 add me beatfreakman Quote
the King Lives Posted November 7, 2014 Posted November 7, 2014 it was a mistake on Sony/Microsoft's fault. WWEGames/Marcu has corrected this on twitter no reason why they would make such a bad speculative mistake Quote
mrelectriccity Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 (edited) 720/1080p doesn;t even matter to me,cause to me it all looks the same lol, it isn't really but a slight difference that u dont even notice unless ur trying really hard to see it lol Edited November 8, 2014 by mrelectriccity Quote
Aero Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 If you have a decent TV there's a fairly obvious difference in 720 and 1080 Quote
Righteous Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 TV has to be around 40inch or better to truly be able to notice a difference. Quote
EZY Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 TV has to be around 40inch or better to truly be able to notice a difference. Yup Quote
Aero Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 Science disagrees with that. They claim something like 27" but sitting close to it gives best results... Personally I prefer bigger though lol Quote
Red Rooster Posted November 8, 2014 Posted November 8, 2014 1280 x 720 = 921600 pixels 1920 x 1080 = 2073600 pixels Over double the amount of pixels, Id say that is a considerable difference. Also Aero is correct a smaller Tv gives a better picture because on a large tv the same number of pixels are spread across a larger area therefore making the picture less defined. Quote
