I still have no idea how 2K managed to not make the tights right with all the references they have.

 

That´s becasue he wore a lot of different designs. The design of the game isn´t the Starrcade ´97. But I saw him wearing it in a match.

Great TNA Sting.

Three extra yobj's, trenchcoat, hair, additional hair.

I knew we could do one, but three? That is so awesome to hear. How many work outside of the entrance? I'd imagine it'd have to be at least the two, as I know the coat can cause issues.

 

Really nice work on the mod itself, man. Crazy to see the evolution of your Sting mods each year. Not sure if it's going to get much better than this (at least as far as the 360/PS3 version goes).

@OTE, thanks man. Quite happy with the way Sting turned out this year. Facially I think it looks a lot like him.

 

The number of additional objects you can add is dependent on how many verts in total all the yobj's have. If you exceed the maximum number of verts, the game freezes. The Sting mod with the jacket only works on entrances as the vert count is a bit relaxed on entrance models, but they is also a limit on verts for entrances.

 

With my Hogan street attire, I also added three yobj's (jeans, shirt, 2Xhair), but these were low poly (low verts) caw parts and hence loaded in ring as well.

Is adding more yobj can be done using xpacker or i need to do hex editing?

Any chance you can share a generic pach with additional 3 yobj slots?

I used your hogan pach in anothee thread but it keeps on freezing on me.

What is vertex limit for in-game and entrance?

Use the Hogan pach I posted some time ago. I used the same for my Sting mod.

 

The important thing to remember with that pach file is that you also remember to inject your entire 000C and 000A texture archive into it. The 0000 yobj file for some reason requires this and the game will freeze if you don't inject these. You can inject your color and normal files in this the same as always.

 

I don't know what the vertex limit is, it's a matter of trial and error. Stick to using caw parts and you should be ok. I takes quite a few tries when injecting multiple yobj's, so keep at it.

0000 It's the model.

000A Normals.

000C Texture.

0002, 0009 .... Those are sweat masks, superstar threads mask and etc.

i wanted to do that mod. But you made a perfect job with the hair and skin. I love it.

I wanted too to add that shirt for an alt. attire.

Add a waistcoat if you can to do this attire:

@Mathayus, I added caw jacket but I want to try to add his jacket from his 2k13 model as it looks better. Will need to extract the jacket and inject it into a caw part.

 

@IamCrazyPT, that attire looks good but the skin tone needs to be fixed. I think the three of us should combine our efforts and release one ddp mega pack as I am going on holiday tomorrow and won't have time to do mods until next year. What do you guys say?

 

@gamingfan, I outsourced those mods ages ago as I didn't have time to finish them, this is the last status:

 

- Joe: complete sent to HotavioH for alt attires

- Devon: WWE attires completed by Titan but awaiting TNA attires

- Bubba: Still needs a lot of work, with Brave and Titan at the moment

- Goldberg with track pants: With Titan

- Jarrette: Still needs lot of work, with GameElite

- AJ Styles: Decided to use a new base but needs a lot of work
