Glad to have you back Tekken

Welcome back, Tekken! I'd be happy to donate for a new X-Packer, it's been incredibly useful and well worth the money!

Thanks guys. Some good news, I took a look at the save last night and the game can read the save uncompressed on the xbox 360 version. The format has changed so it will take some time to code functions to edit the info in the save. It may also have a different checksum, not sure as yet.

Is there a chance that you might make "pre-orders" available sometime before releasing X-Packer 10?

Welcome back by the way, you were very missed.

@DnlSon, yes the pre order guys usually get X-Packer and community dlc a bit earlier to help me beta test.

Ok, busy couple of days looking into the save, pofo, movesets and catalog file. The save is the same structure but the wrestler info and moveset formats are different. I was hoping that they would be the same as 2k14 so that we can import the files directly into the save but unfortunately that won't be possible. Coding support for the save functions won't be difficult but will take some time to do.

The catalog file is substantially different. The way the wrestlers are unlocked differs substantially. I won't able to code support for it for this reason but it's not complicated to edit manually. I post details how to later. It may also be possible to unlock more than 32 wrestlers in a single dlc file, but I can't confirm until I look at it some more.

Spent some time manually hexing Scott Hall in as dlc. Process is pretty much the same except for the catalog file and the renders. The render directories are named differently this year, so take note of that.

Going to rest a bit now, still tired from traveling. Will start coding the functions into X-Packer and X-Rey next week:

Still working out the kinks in 2k15 at the moment. Can only start programming X-Packer 10 when I figure these out.

For now, I have injected the misc file from 2k14 into the game, allowing for more alt attires. I assigned all the values for the existing 2k15 wrestlers into the the 2k14 misc file so the game doesn't have any issues. I have not assigned the correct names to the attires as yet because I don't know all the values. If someone wants to go through the string file and send me a list of values, it will speed the coding of X-Packer up.

For the entrances, I looked into hexing a custom playlist value into the moveset file. The game completely ignores any custom playlist value you enter and sets the music to none. I haven't looked into the entrance motions, has anyone successfully replaced the entrance motions with last years animations?

I've also been adding more wrestlers as dlc to test, this will become community dlc eventually. There are some issues with the universe mode which I need to figure out before I can proceed though. I will need help with the movesets, entrances, attributes for this dlc, any volunteers?

Here's what I've done so far:

fantastic, the misc file issue is fixed :)

On PS3 the save is again protected like hell. I started modding the chetc.pac file and i can replace ingame wrestlers and movesets (didn't try to add custom dlc).

It is waaay faster then the ccapi method even if i have to delete the save everytime i change something. I convert the pofo files to big endian, edit a few things and inject them into the chetc.pac file.

Nice work so far Tekken, hope all continues to go well.

Tekken ove already added angle sabu farooq warlord and barbarian to my game. Move set should be done in a bit. So I can work on the others and send this week...

@kim666, if you can edit the chetc file and the changes reflect in game, then you can add dlc that way. You just need to edit the catalog file, which the new version of X-Packer will be able to do. I can't remember if I enabled reading of the dlc flag in X-Packer for the chetc last year, check it out.

@zhigge, that would help tremendously. The movesets and entrances I need are as follows:

- Bradshaw

- Farooq

- Road Dogg

- Billy Gunn

- Goldberg

- Scott Steiner

- Scott Hall

- Sabu

- Sandman

- Kurt Angle

That's basically my roster for comm dlc 1.

Would be nice if the old entrance animations could be hacked in. Don't have the time to look at this now, if someone succeeds in this let me know.

Yes X-Packer can read the dlc flag for chetc file. I can create a modded chetc.pac for the PS3 users of comm dlc 1.

Since Red Rooster added Sting entrance to 2K14, I think the entrance will work in the same way. The same for winning animations.

The thing that more annoy me is the entrance music, if you find a way to add that, would be perfect.

We can create .bik files with music :)

Oooohhhhhhhh!

I forgot that. So everything it´s fine now.
