Dnlson889 Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 Sorry if I'm a little behind on this one, but I can't seem to open any of the ch.pac files in the ch folder with X-Packer 9. I even tried Quickbms but it doesn't extract anything. Do I need to tweak the ch.pac file in HxD or something like that? Quote
summerslammer Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 did you uncompress the file first? Quote
Dnlson889 Posted October 31, 2014 Author Posted October 31, 2014 No, because I didn't have to uncompress the ch.pac files in 2K14 or under. Quote
Twistedmisery666™ Posted October 31, 2014 Posted October 31, 2014 No, because I didn't have to uncompress the ch.pac files in 2K14 or under. We'll then do that gotta do it with cmd like last year. Quote

No I meant I didn't have to use xbdecompress to open the pacs in X-Packer or Quickbms, but now I see it's a requirement for the 2K15 ch.pacs. Edited October 31, 2014 by Dnlson889 Quote

I'm guessing you must have been working with ones that had already been decompressed then. It was necessary to do for all original ch .pac files in both '13 and 2K14. Why else do you think people instantly knew what the issue was? Quote

I did decompress the pac with cmd, and I did edit the header, but the header reverts back to EPAC after any sort of injecting or compressing in X-Packer 9. I don't know, maybe I just did it wrong. LordBarker Posted November 22, 2014 Posted November 22, 2014 I had the same issue - I used the PS3 files in the end. Quote
