A Little Modding Help...

I've decided I want to replace some of the retro superstars with 2K14 supertars that were left out. Has anyone done a model replacement yet?

I have a PS3 so it seems adding DLC isnt going to be an option unless I use ccapi. My ultimate goal is to make 2K15 into a current WWE only game, so hence the removal of the retro characters. I suppose my greatest concern is destablizing the game by replacing these wrestlers. I have no plans to use any of the other modes, so I don't think it would an issue.

My other question is regarding the strings.pac and editing the entries for the retro wrestlers. Will that be a simple one entry and done or are there multiple entries I have to contend with?

I already see they have changed the render files, but I'm sure that's a problem I can resolve on my own, however I'm n o t sure where to find the wrestler icon images for the match selection screen. Has anyone located them?

 

EDIT: I was looking at the file format for the new menuHD selection pics. It seems they have changed it to a .tga format for some odd reason. I haven't tried replacing any in X-Packer through. Just thought I would give everyone a heads up.
