Possibilities for 2K15

Brand new to this forum so I applogise if this is the wrong subsection

So anyways I don't have 2K14 and I recently got in to WWE. I play on PS3 so seeing the Americans playing with the old Shield attire on the new game. I mean that's just a joke really. So I really am stuck on what I should do.

After reading your mods topic I was amazed at how quickly you had disected the game and started to do injections and stuff. So where do you guys see this going? Are there plans to bring Dean and Seth with updated attire, entrances and music? I'm just curious so again I'm sorry if I am ignorant but again I'm new :)

Don't be too amazed. It's all but the same game we've been working with for at least the last two years now.

As for your questions, only time will tell. There's no saying who's going to mod what until someone actually starts doing it. No need to apologize for being new either. Great to hear you actually took some time to read around a bit, as that's all we ask of new people. If you're interested in the whole process of modding, take a look around the 2K14 modding section, as that's where you'll find all of the info, tutorials, etc. that you'd need.

Thanks :) OTE community seems awesome

One immediate question is do I buy 14 or 15?

Certainly '14... The '15 is just a '14 with new wrestlers and Moves.

However if you feel like you prefer the roster of the "current" wwe, you should go with '15.

Welcome to the forums - are you more interested in Legends or the new WWF? If it's Legends Id recommend 2k14, and also because the community has been working on it for the last year. I'm sure 2k15 will catch up - but the little of 2k15 I've played it doesn't seem very well developed on last gen. And you have less main roster slots etc. Etc. Overall I'd suggest '14 If you're interested in modding right now, but I'm sure more opinions will emerge that differ.

I don't really care about the legends (sounds harsh yeah I know) the updated roster sounds good but with people being able to add in 2K15 Bray Wyatt model and stuff and all that. Ergh too much of a big choice :') as long as we can get updated stuff by the good people of smacktalks then 15 it is

Welcome,

I would say 2K14, it makes a great base for modding, I'm using 2k15 to grab the textures and models I want and will either use them in WWE13/2K14.

Thanks for everything guys, stuoid question really but to inject mods and shizz, does the PS3 need to be jailbroken?

Yes it does have to be jailbroken. :)

But I want online play ffs

God damn 2K why do you need to make everything so difficult?

Speaking of modding and injections (not sure what that it is as I'm not familiar with the modding/hacking terms), it seems ppl have cracked 2k15 or am I wrong? If so, I wonder when someone will upload a hacked caw diva that can fight the males and what not. I might get into the whole modding thing myself, it is something I've been pondering for sometime.

Just remembered that I only got my PS3 in December so its a suoer slim one which what I have read so far isn't jailbreak compatible :( without soldering which I cba to do

And I was getting so hyped for this stuff

So start looking on Ebay, I purchased mine from Ebay.

I'd recommend certain gaming forums etc. Usually cheaper than Fleabay and usally sold by someone who knows a bit about them ;) If you can't eBay is certainly fine though :)
