COZZA SAID SO
The following is what I'd like to see as future Showcase Modes; I think they should have showcases about WWE Superstars who've come from NXT. Only for those who have moved to the main roster in the past 3-5 years and follow their career from their final match on the brand until a recent date in history. Will only need to include key moments of their career. E.g. Championship wins, Milestones, Big Matches of their careers etc. The people who would be good to base this off would be; Daniel Bryan, The Shield (include post-shield stories), Rusev, Bray Wyatt and The Wyatt Family, AJ Lee, Paige and some other NXT names yet to debut on the main roster. I think just the six names above would be enough to give us some great matches. Let me work on some match listings for each person/s. I know this might not have a chance to be made into it, but this is what Showcase Mode could move onto. The two bolded showcases would be perfect for DLC Showcases. Although it would be better for them to be on the disc, they are perfect for DLC.On-Disc Showcase Modes: - Daniel Bryan - From NXT Rookie - WWE World Heavyweight Champion1. COZZA SAID SO
Nice stuff. For Bryan you forgot the WWE Championship match with Cena. Thanks. Spent the last 24 hours creating the outline. Hoping it either makes it into the game (wishful thinking) or someone can create it for me using Story Designer (if it returns). Think I accidentally missed that match when scrolling through the match database. That would be added to it also.

When I'm bored I end up doing things like this. I spent a lot of time on this and to think it was only ideas 24 hours ago that came into working order. Anything can happen though. They will begin creating the game as soon as WWE 2K15 releases on Next-Gen. During this time, they will be sourcing ideas and creating plans. Sorry Cozza i have to agree with Jitz, that's way too much when you don't even know if they'll repeat the same formula next year.

Whether they could be implemented or not is not a problem. I needed something to do to stop from being bored and this was it. My best ideas come when I'm bored and think about something. Could you elaborate on what you mean by "repeat the same formula next year". I don't quite understand what your saying. Thanks in advance. Don't get me wrong: i'd love this and for them to just update the game with dlc and showcases all year long and even skip 2k17 and just work on 2k18. I think that should be the formula they go with. But i guess i don't fully trust 2k cause as long as that NBA2k franchise is around, WWE2K will always be second best LOL

I don't usually post much unless I'm really into something (this thread is a class example) when I do post it's because I've got something to say and add to conversations. I hope they continue with the showcases. I haven't played them myself, but they are seem like a history version of RTWM. If they decide to go in a different route without experimenting with the mode again with updated showcases to see if people actually have enjoyed them, then it's worth continuing. Yeah, NBA 2K games will always take the front seat at 2K. The only way that WWE 2K Games can take over is if it becomes better than the NBA Series. That will be a tough challenge, but if we help them with direction then we can guarentee that we've at least tried.

Here and there. Been busy with work and everyone else happening on the 2K Forums and just doing whatever I think of doing (which is random things at random times, which i like). There's not much reason for me to post there. It's a nice forum, just nothing for me to really talk about without seeing all of the sidetracking. I'm guilty of sidetracking too, but when the car we are driving ends up in a completly different place. Then it's time we got it back on track. Because of the time zone differences too, when I get on either nobody else is on or no conversation that I'd like to take part in is available at the time. Gamevolt
The Bryan one sounds cool. Maybe add his first match on NXT against Jericho as the first match. However you might want to rethink the unlockable superstars. Edited October 29, 2014 by Gamevolt
Beyond The Ropes
Why on Earth would anybody want another damn Showcase mode?? This year it cost us what SHOULD HAVE BEEN the full season pass, and for what? A couple good rivalries, wrestlers, and then some crap? If anyone wanted to relive some of the best and some of the most pointless matches in history, I'd subscribe to the WWE Network. Screw Showcase/30YOWM/Attitude Era modes, in my opinion they were the most boring inclusion in a Wrestling game since 24/7 mode, which still wasn't even as boring. All in all 24/7 mode was pretty good in my opinion. I'd say just put RTWM in 2K Showcase's place instead and also put MyCareer in there. That would be fantastic. Beyond The Ropes
In all honesty, they just need to stick to Career mode like they should've been doing instead of adding pointless things that ended up getting taken out completely. Make career mode actually diverse and differ depending on choices and it would be something great for everyone. I wouldn't even complain about 2k15 on last gen had they scrapped the showcase crap and done RTWM or a less exciting career mode compared to next gens version. (if it weren't for what I've heard and seen about physics and collision detection I'd be somewhat content with it. At least for a little while.)
