Extracting normals and mip maps from yobj file

Would i need 3ds max to extract normals from yobj files or it can be done without it. Please help and do i must download 3gb 3dsmax to view yobj models or is there any other way of viewing and editing models. Please answer both of my questions i want to take wii modding to new heights

Yes, you need 3ds max to edit models but if you want to just view it purchase tekkens xrey. To extract the normals, open your pach file and extract the 000A.

when i am extracting or uncompressing 000A it gives a .pac and an .yobj file. now how do i get normals from those files and when i open them as texture archieve xpacker gives unhandled exception please help Edited by kaijones
