gamingsinceatari Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) Since this lately the boards are full of the negative things about 2k15, i thought i'd list some of the positive things ive noticed about 2k15: 1. I've noticed they have added a bunch of new entrances, even people like Justin gabriel who has his old attire has a new entrance and even people like RVD & Booker who had good entrances from previous games has all new entrances. Nice. 2. A nice variety of new moves with accurate animations! People like ambrose and USOs are gonna be on point. 3. Universe mode, although untouched has the addition of story collection added. If it works as intended, it should make for a great addition, especially in the absence of Story designer. 4. New VO taunts (Reigns, Bray, etc.) 5. Improved crowd! Go listen to how a match sounds in 2k14 and listen to 2k15, you'll notice a difference immediately. The crowd is so much more into the match. 6. More moves with Pin combo. I noticed while watching the new moves vid, many of the added moves have pin combos which is great! Also i didnt see Cena's AA with pin combo listed in the new moves section so that could mean that some of the "older" moves may have the pin option added to them... 7. Plenty of new specific OMG moments. (From RVD's barricade heel kick to Roman reigns' apron dropkick!) Even though the removal of many things is devastating. I'm still looking forward to getting it on 360, mainly because of the reasons stated above. I think it's safe to say i'll enjoy it on 360, but i could understand why some others could feel differently. Edited October 27, 2014 by gamingsinceatari Quote
Twistedmisery666™ Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 That's all a good point just hope we can't import models to 2k14. Quote
gamingfan Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) The only thing that is interesting me is story collection in universe mode and new moves. If they made casket match and 3 stages of hell to be available in universe mode and preset entrances work it would have been good. Edited October 27, 2014 by gamingfan Quote
gamingsinceatari Posted October 27, 2014 Author Posted October 27, 2014 That's all a good point just hope we can't import models to 2k14. Even though i haven't looked at the files yet, im pretty much 90% sure we can. You can tell by looking at the game that they haven't changed pretty much anything especially the model format. Which isn't usually a good thing, but in this case it is. Quote
Titavius Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 (edited) realistically, i doubt the formats have changed at all. they simply didn't have enough time to completely re-engineer the game from scratch. worst case scenario, we have a new YOBJ format, similar to what was introduced in WWE 12. Yeah, the models are the same as 2K14, but then some of the models introduced in SVR 11 were also used in WWE 12, they simply tweaked the YOBJ format. honestly, I think the only problem we'll have to contend with will be the model shaders. I think we're looking at another WWE '12 scenario, and I'd say it's because of the new lighting. On the flip side, the new lighting could be there to simply enhance the look of the models, and the shading parameters could just remain the same. Edited October 27, 2014 by Titan83 1 Quote
UndertakerWLF Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 The formats will be the same for the most part, I cannot see them having the time or money to change them..especially if they had to remove parts of the game. Quote
AgeofSandow Posted October 27, 2014 Posted October 27, 2014 I wonder if CAF is locked like how THQ used to lock new moves on the disc. Getting ps4 version so it doesn't matter much, but I'm curious Quote

OMG moments are cool, the new moves there will be, plus taunts and all that things. And the improved crowd. Well, about that last point, I didn´t watched any video yet, but this is one thing that I know that would make a big change to get you into the game and I never understood why this guys don´t put more effort into this. But in the other hand are all the fantastic roster from Wrestlemania and you could lost a lot of entrances for all that legends if you make a port and 2k/yukes remove it. What would be a possibility seeing how they are removing things. Quote
MDTornado Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 But they removed a lot of features from 360 or ps3 versions which makes me stick to wwe 2k14 only... Quote
M42Productions Posted October 28, 2014 Posted October 28, 2014 But they removed a lot of features from 360 or ps3 versions which makes me stick to wwe 2k14 only... Same here. The fact that they took out Story Designer cancels out all the other positives for me. I mean, I guess I could make CAWs in 2K15 of all the new people whose in-game models suck, remake them in 2K14, and use both games to make my videos, but that's too much time, money, and work. Besides, buying this game would mean that I'm OK with 2K trying to sell me a blatantly inferior product. I'm not a fan of that. Quote
