NO MERCY/DAY OF RECKONING GRAPPLE SYSTEM REURNS MESHED WITH EXISTING FEATURES
2k15-jeu2.2.png

Looking At The Grapple Button We Have...

(TAP)Front Face Lock
Left Stick Plus (Tap)= Normal Grapples
Left Stick Plus (Hold)= Strong Grapples

I think we will have more than 8 grapples simply because we have to use The Left stick to do a direction and choose to either (Tap For Normal Grapples) Or (Hold For Strong Grapples) Meaning Each Direction Of The Left Stick Has 4 Moves Each For Tap Or Hold, So...

NORMAL GRAPPLES

Left Stick Up (Tap)= 4 Moves Depending On Direction With Left Stick Again After
Left Stick Down (Tap)= 4 Moves Depending On Direction With Left Stick Again After
Left Stick Right (Tap)= 4 Moves Depending On Direction With Left Stick Again After
Left Stick Left (Tap)= 4 Moves Depending On Direction With Left Stick Again After

STRONG GRAPPLES
Left Stick Up (HOLD)= 4 Moves Depending On Direction With Left Stick Again After
Left Stick Down (HOLD)= 4 Moves Depending On Direction With Left Stick Again After
Left Stick Right (HOLD)= 4 Moves Depending On Direction With Left Stick Again After
Left Stick Left (HOLD)= 4 Moves Depending On Direction With Left Stick Again After

16 Weak+16 Strong= 32 Front Grapple Moves And Unsure How This System Works For Back Grapples
If Its Exactly The Same We Could Have 64 Grapples Total (LOL No Pun Intended On The Nintendo 64) But If This Is The Case Than It Is An Extremely More Advanced Version Of The AKI Style Game Play AKI Used For WCW/NWO WORLD TOUR/REVENGE, WWF WM2000 And WWF No Mercy That Yukes Also Adapted For WWE WMXIX And WWE DAY OF RECKONING1/2, And This Would Be A Great Time To Bring It Back For Newer Gen Systems And Would Explain The Even More Need For The Amount Of Motion Capture Done For WWE2k15, Than Add This To The OMG System From Previous Games That Is Continuing Even More Advanced For Newer Gen, And The Limb Targeting System And An Redesigned Breaking Point Submission System And Than You Got The Same Buttons For Finisher/Sigs And Than Add The New Chain Grappling Mini Game And You Got NEW GEN WWE 2K15.

Any Thoughts On My Analysis Of The New Control System?

Yeah I mentioned this in another forum yet someone thought I didn't know what I was talking about. Glad I'm not the only one lol

The controls look similar to the past couple of games. Seems decent, not too much to get used to. Looking forward to it :lol

It's a bit different

They moved the limb targeting to the trigger. The Body Indicator Button Is Back And You Can Choose To Do A Finisher Or A Signiture Now Instead Of Waiting For Either Or When U Have Them.

And you can press LS to target opponents manually!

I didn't actually realise you could tap X to go into a grapple or hold X for a strong move, i'd wondered why sometimes I would grapple and other times perform a move.

Yeah I guess it's easy not to know when everything is going so fast lol (meaning having fun not the gameplay lol)

Little details like that will definitely take some time to get used to. Even considering the fact that holding the button would go into a submission attempt, in the previous games.

Thing is though, we don't actually go into the grapple state before moves anymore, similar to SYM. Whether that's just for strong grapples or not I'm not sure, though we're sure to find out once the last-gen versions are released next week.

that must be a ps4 controller LS im thinking bout on Xbox controller LS is the left joystick which is what you use to move around in the game. LS on the ps4 controller must be one of the buttons on top of the controller

It's the same. Ps4 you press L3 x1 you click LS

LS on x1 stands for Left Stick the LS button is the left stick button. Same for ps4 instead it's called L3
