How long has Marcus known you?

Same amount of time. I don't need to justify myself to you

Thanks for the warm welcome, everyone! There is a lot of work to do, but we'll get there. It's good to be home again. I'll be checking in and updating everyone with a more formal statement today, but just wanted to pop in and say hello.

A long time. I look forward to getting to know you as well!

No you don't, that's why I never said "prove it". I really don't care. What I was wondering though was whether you just have a flippant attitude towards the word friend, or if you're just a little bit creepy.

My general rule, if it's somebody's job to be nice to you, they're probably not your friend. Otherwise, I'd have about twenty stripper friends.

Welcome man, it's great that you actually visit and are active on forums. And you're a nice guy, looking forward to hearing more from you!

It was nothing against you but when I say someone's my friend I mean it lol especially since I don't have many

As I said in twitter welcome back my friend. You have been greatly missed

Why does anyone give a shit about a community manager?

I was asking myself the same fucking thing.

I mean what is it gonna change ?

Hi. A united community can be a very powerful thing. I get the skepticism, so how 'bout I not tell you and just prove it. Let's do this!

You're just used to people like Jared and Aubrey not interacting with other forums. Marcus isn't like them at all

Not even a day after learning you're back and you're already on here. Case in point for anyone wondering why having him return as Community Manager is such a good thing. Great to have you back, dude.

So this guy will be around the wwe games forum to see what the community thinks that is wrong with the game and what the game needs?

Posted

Er, well thanks. I guess? What would you do that's anywhere near beneficial for someone, like me, who is completely jaded about the series? Can you go in and gut out the weird reverse-centric mechanics? If you can, that'd be good.

I'll state it again. If it wasnt for Marcus.

You wouldn't have caa

You wouldn't have paint tool

You wouldn't have dlc moves

You wouldn't be able to add shows on any day of the week in universe

You wouldn't be able to defend titles on any show in universe

You wouldn't have catch/running finishers

Do you notice the trend? These ideas were asked year after year after year since atleast around svr07 and they started surfacing in 09 (caf) and 12

I first want to know why you're jaded. I'm happy to discuss game development, community, ideas, etc. Don't think I won't know what you're talking about. Let's do this!

What makes Marcus different than the other community managers is that he actually cares about the community.  It is his passion to build a bridge between the developers/publishers and the fan base.  He did it at EA and he did it at THQ.  It is not just a job to him, it is his passion and that makes a big difference.  The other guys who have done that job since he left were there because of the high profile nature of the position.  One used it to launch into a youtube career while the other used it as a platform to preach his personal social justice crusade.  Marcus actually cares about the community and will help to foster a strong relationship between us and the people who make the game.

Ah, Marcus. Finally, a representative of 2K, an inside man. Let's just get it out of the way, 'cause it's getting down to the wire.

WWE 2K15 on PC. Confirm/deny?

Take notes people. "The Hammer". With a name like that, he just oozes sex. Hard (no pun intended) to follow that.

But, what a surprise. I thought it'd be months before we saw you and it'd be fine. But, the day you get hired, on the dot, we see you. If that's not professionalism, I don't know what is. Excited to hear about your agenda and what you have planned as far as feedback and conveying information goes. We've got some of the most sophisticated and elaborate minds here.

Not your daily one-dimensional "ZOMG! Is Paige going to be in?!" That's cringing and irresponsible. If only someone gave you a nickel every time someone like this showed up?

I don't envy you and I'd be lying if I told you, you won't see that here. But, it will be vastly reduced with the system we have here.

Yeah he gathered all the feedback relayed it to thq. Even the anger over the to all of the moves removed to pretty I h universe 2.0 improvements. It's not a coincidence that after wwe12 (wwe13 release) the series began to really get bad (tons of glitches. Universe problems etc) Marcus is the man!
