Cus7ate9 Posted October 22, 2014 Author Posted October 22, 2014 Yeah it was mentioned in the thread about the commercials. Is there a way I can search that because I used so many search tags trying to find something on it Quote
Bob_Van_Dam Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I believe tattoo artists are beginning to copyright their work, happened with a player for Madden or NBA 2K I think. Quote

Yeah sorry for this, I just found an article that says Jericho was in a battle (in court) with his tattoo artist, and mattel can't have his tattoos on his action figures either... I guess the artist won the case. Quote
Yin Yang Bought In Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Maybe they removed them from the commercial Quote
Nothing Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) I believe tattoo artists are beginning to copyright their work, happened with a player for Madden or NBA 2K I think.I believe it started with the UFC games. In 2012 the artist that did Carlos Condit's lion tattoo claimed he owned the copyright for it and should be paid since it appeared in UFC 2009 & UFC 3. EA decided to remove the tattoo for UFC 2014 to avoid paying him.http://www.bloodyelbow.com/2014/6/17/5818700/ea-ufc-video-game-carlos-condit-tattoo-left-out-lawsuit-mma-news Edited October 22, 2014 by FallenPunisher Quote

Fozy Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 Jericho really does have the ugliest tattoos though, no big loss. Quote
w00ody Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I really don't mind because they look out of place anyway. Paint Tool is in both versions by the looks of things, so give it a week after release and they'll be on CC. Quote
Titavius Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 (edited) this is an outrage. i can't believe this, the one thing that would make this Jericho stand out from every other model, and they forget to add his Sideburns! Edited October 22, 2014 by Titan83 Quote
BrotchMrToast Posted October 22, 2014 Posted October 22, 2014 I think his face and body looks awesome this year, unlike the years before. Additionally, his attire is spot on. Fuck the tattoos. Quote

It is pretty crazy that something that is on your body still actually belongs to the tattoo artist. It is almost creepy when I think about it. Quote
