Walu (Inactive) Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) I've been doing some maths on the WWE2K14 & WWE2K15 and found out something strange. This what i've been up to:WWE2K14 Roster: - AJ Lee - Aksana - Alberto Del Rio - Andre the Giant - Antonio Cesaro - Batista - Big John Studd - Big Show - Big Show (retro) - Bret Hart - Brock Lesnar - Brock Lesnar (retro) - Brodus Clay - Christian - Chris Jericho - Chris Jericho (retro) - CM Punk - Cody Rhodes - Damien Sandow - Daniel Bryan - Darren Young - David Otunga - Dean Ambrose - Diesel - Drew McIntyre - Dolph Ziggler - Eddie Guerrero - Edge - Goldberg - Heath Slater - Hulk Hogan - Hollywood Hulk Hogan - Jack Swagger - JBL - Jinder Mahal - John Cena - John Cena (retro) - Justin Gabriel - Kaitlyn - Kane - Kane (retro) - King Kong Bundy - Kofi Kingston - Layla - Lita - Mark Henry - Mick Foley - Mr. McMahon - Natalya - R-Truth - Randy Orton - Randy Savage - Razor Ramon - Rey Mysterio - Ric Flair - Ric Flair (retro) - Ricky Steamboat - Ryback - Roman Reigns - Santino Marella - Seth Rollins - Sgt. Slaughter - Shawn Michaels - Shawn Michaels (retro) - Sheamus - Sin Cara - Stephanie McMahon - Stone Cold Steve Austin - Ted DiBiase - Tensai - The Great Khali - The Miz - The Rock - The Rock (retro) - Titus O'Neil - Triple H - Triple H (retro) - Undertaker - Undertaker (retro) - Wade Barrett - Yokozuna - Zack Ryder Total: 82 WWE2K14 DLCs: Kevin Nash Scott Hall “Macho Man” Randy Savage Syxx Curt Hennig Scott Steiner Fandango Big E Langston Brie Bella Nikki Bella Bruno Sammartino “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes “Ravishing” Rick Rude Jake “The Snake” Roberts Total: 14Complete Roster: 96WWE2K15 Roster (Next Consol Generation): - AJ Lee - Alberto Del Rio - Bad News Barrett - Batista - Big E - Big Show - Booker T - Bray Wyatt - Brie Bella - Brock Lesnar - Cameron - Cesaro - Chris Jericho - CM Punk - Cody Rhodes - Curtis Axel - Damien Sandow - Daniel Bryan - Darren Young - Dean Ambrose - Dolph Ziggler - Erick Rowan - Fandango - Goldust - Hulk Hogan - Jack Swagger - Jey Uso - Jimmy Uso - John Cena - Justin Gabriel - Kane - Kevin Nash - Kofi Kingston - Luke Harper - Mark Henry - Naomi - Natalya - Nikki Bella - R-Truth - Randy Orton - Rey Mysterio - Ric Flair - Rob Van Dam - Roman Reigns - Ryback - Santino Marella - Seth Rollins - Shawn Michaels - Sheamus - “Stone Cold” Steve Austin - Sting - Summer Rae - Tamina - The Miz - The Rock - The Undertaker - Titus O’Neil - Triple H - Tyson Kidd - Xavier Woods - Bo Dallas - Corey Graves - Adrian Neville - Sami Zayn - Rusev Total: 65 WWE2K15 DLCs: Christian Edge The Great Khali Ultimate Warrior Andre the Giant Sgt. Slaughter Honky Tonk Man Rick Rude Macho King Colonel Mustafa Undertaker (Classic) Hunter Hearst Helmsley Fit Finlay Lord Steven Regal Bam Bam Bigelow Diamond Dallas Page Lex Luger JBL Adam Rose Konnor Victor Emma Paige Total: 23 Complete Roster: 88 _______________________________ Missing Superstars and Divas from the current roster in WWE2K15: - Los Matadores (Diego & Fernando) - Heath Slater - Sin Cara - Stardust - Zack Ryder - Rosa Mendes - Layla - Alicia Fox - Eva Marie Total: 10 Isn't it strange that a last gen game has more to offer, than a current gen game? They left out very few of the current roster, most notably Heath Slater, Zack Ryder, NXT Tag Team Champion Sin Cara and WWE Tag Team Champion Stardust. Stardust didn't debut to late to be inlcuded in the game. The Tag Team Entrance of Erick Rowan & Luke Harper and the current attire/the current haircut of Dean Ambrose had their debut after Stardust did, who could easily be an attire for Cody Rhodes. Do you think 2K will reveal atleast a few new Superstars before the release? Just create a CAW?There's only a small chance for Custom Theme Songs to be included, so making CAWs of current Superstars won't be that great. Edited October 18, 2014 by Walu Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Stardust did, who could easily be an attire for Cody Rhodes. oh are you a game developer? Quote
Walu (Inactive) Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) Stardust did, who could easily be an attire for Cody Rhodes. oh are you a game developer? No. But Cody Rhodes has had multiable attires with different entrances before. I believe it was WWE '12 where Masked Cody and Unsmasked Cody were included. Edited October 18, 2014 by Walu Quote
DrJoeyMagnum Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 That's due to the fact his Dashing and Mask gimmick were around at the cut off date for the game Quote
mkkhan555 Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 in DLC Hunter Hearst Helmsley don't forget classic undertaker Quote
Walu (Inactive) Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 That's due to the fact his Dashing and Mask gimmick were around at the cut off date for the game Dean Ambrose current attire apparently was, too. Quote
bluemonkeymagic Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Retro jericho, retro mark Henry? Do your math again and include showcase versions of the wrestlers. They'll count... Quote
Ballard Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 There are still more to be revealed for 2K15 though... Quote

As far as i know they are attires, not characters. http://www.thesmackdownhotel.com/wwe2k15/roster/#dlc By the way: DLC Undertaker has been added, i forgot about him - who doesn't seem to be an attire. gamingfan Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 I think showcase DLC characters will be on disc and can only be accessed if you purchase showcase dlc. Quote
Walu (Inactive) Posted October 18, 2014 Author Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) Umm, you missed out the NXT guys. Sorry. Didn't check that list for them. Edge was missing, too. I'm editing them in Edited October 18, 2014 by Walu Quote
OverTheEdge Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Yeah, as mentioned, not only did you forget the NXT guys, but you forget Edge in the DLC as well. Though, regardless, this whole list is rather arbitrary in the first place. For the PS4/XBO versions of 2K15, they've had to make completely new models for anyone and everyone appearing in the game. 2K14 maybe had 10-15 completely unique models that weren't in a past game before, because they've been using the same base models for most guys year after year, and the only thing changing is the attire. Of course it was easier for them to have more guys in 2K14. Honestly, part of me is still rather surprised that we're even getting a roster the size that we are for their first game out on the PS4/XBO. And then even in addition to all of that, you're whole statement saying, "Isn't it strange that a last gen game has more to offer, than a current gen game?" doesn't even make any sense, seeing as there's a whole lot more to a game than its roster. 1 Quote
FrickinAwesome Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 The whole roster hasn't been revealed yet, so it's a bit too early for this. Quote

Thanks for the post and sorry for missing a couple of guys out that was my bad. Now the list is completley up to date. I know WWE2K15 is a milestone and i really love how 2K put the work in it. WWE2K14 and WWE '13 are nothing like that awesome game that is coming towards us right now. But for me the roster is the most important thing, because i play the Universe Mode for most of the time and for that i really like to have 'em all or at least almost everybody. I'm an undercard supporter and so i' love to see Slater and his friends competing in WWE2K15. Edited October 18, 2014 by Walu Quote
Bale Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 And Rusev. You forgot Rusev. Lol it's look like he will find out that 2k15 roster bigger than 2k14 because he don't count many of them and still there is more superstars not confirmed yet. Quote
Gold Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) The whole roster on the disc hasn't been revealed yet, and i can't think of a single reason why Edited October 18, 2014 by Gold Quote
Nothing Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 (edited) Does it really matter if 2K14 has a few guys over 2K15? The majority of the legends/retros on the 2K14 roster I had no interest playing as. With the exception of Scott Hall, I think this years roster is better. seanironmaiden Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 this year's roster is far better and even though I love legends, there weren't a whole lot that interested me last year. I'd rather play as an attitude era jobber than a "classic" legend. The nxt guys and the likes of the Wyatts make this year's roster the hands down winner. Cant remember a year when there's been as good a roster as this. I think this is down to WWE having a much better overall roster than they did from say, 2008 - 2012 Quote
