A couple of brick walls

Hello everyone, I'm officially a noob to modding wwe2k14. I hope to build up my skills & get to the point where I'm contributing quite a bit to this community. I've been on this forum for the better part of a year reading tutorials & asking random questions. I've finally gotten my new pc & x-packer & I've run into a few snags. Hopefully you guys can help.

I'm running rogero 4.55 CFW on PS3

I decided to start small & insert some alternate outfits for HBK using BUGSYBOY's HBK Pack.

I followed the tutorial in the index & when it came to decompressing the misc pac I would get a error message in DOS(BTW guys the anon files link to the XBcompressor & tools is broken). I searched that error message and I found out in the wwe 13 section of this forum that this error message comes up in DOS when the misc pac is already decompressed.

I continued following the tutorial & noticed when I update my arc files not only did the file update but it created two additional files named plistPS3.ark.bak & plistPS3.ark.bak2, I followed the rest of the tutorial's instructions & put all three arc files into the proper folder & I got a error message stating my game data was corrupted.

I then found anabolica's ps3 tutorial & started over & followed it. I quickly realized there was no f.Dat file in my folder. I followed that tutorial & fot the same message. I then deleted my game data & restarted wwe2k14 bypassing the update that I was prompted & my HBK mods showed up, however all of the dlc characters except for ultimate warrior & biker taker will not show. I went back and updated the game & all of my dlc reappeared & all of my mods disappeared. I can literally retrace my steps and I get either one of the two results. no dlc but mods or no mods but dlc. Where am I going wrong?

I didn't read all of this - but you don't need to decompress the misc pac.

Bak is just a backup of your original file.

Which tutorials have you followed? X-packer can be used to add the attires, the misc pac is used to change the listed number of attires so they show up in-game.

These two in the order I stated

The biggest issue is getting the dlc to show up with my mods. Because I'm only getting one or the other.

Pretty sure there is another tutorial, something like 'adding additional attires' that's pretty much all you should need. Can't get a link at the mo, but have a look - think it uses the million dollar man as example.

Oh, odd didn't come up when I first clicked on it. If you've followed that guide then you're there. I used that for my PS3 game and worked perfectly. What are your steps?

EDIT* - Thinking about it, if I remember correctly the misc.pac is different on the ps3, I think it's misc_dlc3 you need to edit (located in the GAME folder, not gameS), not misc_start, that's if you have the official DLC installed. I'd assume that's the problem at a guess.

I cover it on my guide here:

Ok I'm gonna try that. Before you replied I realized the f.Dat was in the game folder not the GAMES folder. I deleted that and copied the arc files & the WM12 model of HBK pulled up the modded version but the other models weren't showing up. I figured it was a problem with the misc.pac. I think the misc_dlc trick might be the prob. I gotta make a quick run then I'll try it. Thanks Man.
