DaMitch Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) Hey trying to install a game in a game to my xbox but i am using an external hard drive and using the 30gigs when you format it to be xbox 360 compatible ( i am doing this because the game i am using crashes when it isn't in NXEGOD form) I installed the game and it works but i do not know how to find it in Freestyle Dash i tried to add a game path but there is no content folder in the external HDD just a Xbox360 folder with about 33 Files named "Data0000,Data0001,Data0002 etc each about 1 gig in space i add it as a path and i get nothing ... anybody know how to find it and make it show in freestyle dash ? Its not WWE2k related but requires modded xbox consoles , so can anybody help ? Edited October 16, 2014 by Bo Dallas Quote
Connor MacLeod Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I just woke up, but the way it sounds that is a GOD version of w/e game you are trying to use and it needs to be put into the content folder in the HDD. Quote
LordBarker Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 (edited) Obviously the game works - but shouldn't you have just formatted the external disk to fat32 on a pc rather than go through the 360 console? Will read the whole post later but glancing over I wonder if that's an issue? Also it sounds like it's a god container. Edited October 16, 2014 by LordBarker Quote
DaMitch Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 i could easily put it into my content folder on my 360 hdd and it would work the problem is i have no space left , its only a 250 gb. so i am using another external hard drive and using a GOD form on that external hard drive but cannot find out how to make it show up on Freestyle dash , it appears in games library on the regular dashboard not in freestyle tried adding a path but all there is on the ext hard drive is a folder called xbox360 and it just has 33 Files named "Data0000,Data0001,Data0002 etc each about 1 gig in space Quote
DaMitch Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 if i straight extract it into freestyle dash using dvd extract it gives me a fatal crash (its Alien Isolation btw) but it works in GOD form that is why i am doing it Quote
gamingfan Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 Add the 0000000000000000 folder to the game path. Quote
DaMitch Posted October 16, 2014 Author Posted October 16, 2014 there isn't a content folder on the ext harddrive which the GOD is located .. Quote
LordBarker Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 I'm sure if you search running xbla games from external hdd on google it'll give you a guide - as it's the same process. Quote
gamingfan Posted October 16, 2014 Posted October 16, 2014 If its not shown then set the USB root folder and set the scan setting depth to 8. They are working fine for me. Quote
