so they're all hip hop or dubstep tracks then.. how is that going to appeal to everybody? if you're not into hip hop, how is it fair that you'll probably have to mute your TV to avoid listening to this repetitive shite..

I think to call this hip-hop is an insult the genre that spawned greats such as De La Soul, KMD, Tribe Called Quest, KRS-One etc. etc.

This, my friend, is firmly that all too present genre: 'shite'.  I've taken dumps that sound better than the 2K15 soundtrack.

That was more so directed to Yang and most of the people in this topic. Most of the diversity that people have been asking for consists of bands from SVR07. Which consisted of only 2 rap songs and the rest being Rock and Metal. All I did was dish out the same thing to the people who tried to call Rap garbage, because I can guarantee the vast majority didn't even take a minute to listen to every one of those tracks to admit that maybe they overestimated how "bad" it is. If you have a right to call one of the songs retarded then I have just as much of a right to criticize your suggestions and everybody elses. So I'm going to avoid getting into a flame war and simply ask you what track you would've wanted.

what track i'd have wanted is beside the point. if I'd wanted something by Paul Weller or the Rolling Stones, again, that'd be beside the point. the soundtrack has been curated by two people who's taste in music covers only one genre.

Great soundtrack imo (apart from Wild Ones and that Florida Country Line song). And it doesn't just have Hip Hop songs, just because a song isn't Metal, doesn't mean it's Hip Hop lol.
