Last Gen improvements or all for next gen?

Just curious if the new engine or tweaks will be with last gen as well? Someone told me nba2k15 for last gen is the same as previos in series, and only new gen got updated? 

 

I can stand shit graphics, but will game play still be THQish, garcias

I don't think any things been announced concerning the engine, but I can see it being the same. Chances are - main priority for making a good game went to current gen. Last gen was probably last on their list of agendas.

Well, the Amazon listing for 2K15 says up-front that the gameplay tweaks and face scanning are for current-gen only, so I'm guessing the last-gen version will be 2K14 with a new single-player mode (Rivalries) and a roster update...in other words, the same thing we usually get.  And, honestly, as long as Story Designer is still in the last-gen version, I'm OK with that.

Yeah majority of the new and improved stuff are for the new gen including modes scanned in wrestlers which will the visuals a lot better, only thing i know of thats improved on last  gen is lighting and prob moves.

I am actually thinking that and the abity to store signatures as well as the chain grappling could make it to last gen. I really don't see how it wouldn't

That's not at all the same. You can add in all the new moves you want and it won't change anything about the core gameplay. They've been doing that for years. As for anyone thinking the new gameplay mechanics are going to be in the last gen versions, they've made it known for a very long time that they won't be.

Could they not use the new mo-capped moves for last gen? obviously all the face expressions and stuff wouldn't be in, but just the body movements?

hell yeah me to just found out my hookup on games were i could get n e game for half off, was at a gamblin house when it got raided and he got locked up lol so im just gonna wait and get the X1 version. And whenever a good save editor comes out for it on the 360 then i get the 360 version

2k14 wasn't that bad to me vs the glitches and issues of that stupid rivalry manager in universe lol but yeah I know where you're coming from. I feel bad for those that are getting it on last gen. I definitely can wait. We don't have THAT much longer to go, though its feeling like an eternity!

Moves will be in no problem. Bryan Williams confirmed it. It's things like the stamina system, chain grappling, using the ropes to get up etc all that that's not going to be on 2k14.2 I mean 2k15 for ps3/360. Which sucks as I was hoping for at least the chain grappling.

Roster updates is really all I expect for Last Gen, but unless I rent it, I won't even be playing Last gen

I'm making do with the Xbox 360 version of WWE 2K15 till my b'day in march. At least it comes out a few weeks before the next gen version and we still get the NXT guys too so I'm happy

btw the NXT guys must be in the last gen seems the achievements that were leaked were 360 verion and featured the nxt guys, pretty much confirms them...
