Dnlson889 Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) When I Bink .avi titantrons into .bik they appeared in a lower definition than the .avi format. When I take them to the game, they sometimes glitch as it plays in the entrance and jitters or freezes. The titantron only freezes, not the console, however it loops normally it just glitches at a certain second of the tron. I use the default settings in Rad Video Tools to compress the .bik file, but are there certain settings I need to check or edit in order to get a perfect compression? Dnlson889 Posted October 8, 2014 Author Posted October 8, 2014 (edited) It seemed to have worked in game, thanks Rooster EDIT: I don't know if people already knew this but it's a discovery I made. In Bink settings, check out the overall data rate settings category, check "Compress to a % of the original" and type in "100". And the quality of the bik is equally as good as the original .avi file. Edited October 8, 2014 by Dnlson889 Quote
Red Rooster Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 Same as setting Automatic (based on input file) Quote
Dnlson889 Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 For some reason when I use the automatic setting, the bik compresses in a lower quality than the original avi file. Quote

For Input video settings, when you Force it to 30, is that supposed to be the Frame Rate you're setting the video to? I know 29.97 is an industry standard for most American videos. Quote
