DaMitch Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 (edited) i had countless hours enjoying NO Mercy but now that i play it , its certainly not as fun .. i think its the nostalgia and how good it was for its time that made it a classic the game sure as hell had a great roster, i was always pee'd off however that in season mode on the tag championships you couldn't play co-op I do also think it was so great because now days its all about realism and graphics and we always expect more , and in No Mercys case it was all about having fun at at its time it was groundbreaking, and stood out from its predecessors because most of which were super shitty (WWF Attitude ,WWF Warzone ) except for Wrestlemania 2000 that was pretty good too Edited October 7, 2014 by Bo Dallas Quote

Realistically, if No Mercy was/is truly the best WWE Game to date, we'd be playing a slightly updated version right now. There'd be no need to develop any further! The best game available is the game you see on shelves when you walk into a store. Today, it's 2K14, in a few weeks time, it'll be 2K15. Nostalgia forces you to pick a game that you enjoyed at a good time in your life, regardless of whether it was the 'best' or not. This is No Mercy in a nutshell. I loved Resident Evil on the PS1.
