It makes no sense that it would be the 360/PS3 version, current gen consoles are x86-64 based systems whereas 360/PS3 were PowerPC based.

Porting code from current gen to PC is much simpler than porting last gen games. Making the PC version the last gen version would be more time consuming and costly so I would doubt it very much.

Now while it would make sense that the PC version will be the current gen all singing all dancing version, has anyone thought that it might be the 360/PS3 version?

Yeah, I agree, but even if it is based on the 360/PS3 version, it should still look way better than when played on an actual 360/PS3, at least when played at max settings. A PC game has more settings when when it comes to graphics, due to things like anti-aliasing, texture filtering, refresh rate, resolution, etc. These things obviously all depend on how powerful your graphics/video card is, so yeah, regardless I still think the game will look great being played on the PC. :p

Agreed. I fully expect it to be the same version as PS4/XB1, however I'd never put it past Yukes.

Yeah, I really do hope they don't make the mistake of basing it off the 360/PS3 version, as even the new models and textures would make a huge difference.. ahh well, I guess we'll have to wait and see..
