I have parallel desktop.

Anyway the roster need to be really really pack for me to switch.

Its impossible i redo all my work.

Im probably gonna stick to 360.

This is probably my last game anyway.

Im never going to be able to spend as much time as i did this year on modding.

Parallel wouldnt work, you'd have to run Windows in a native environment, modding a wrestling game on the PC will take years to reach what we can do on the 360 anyway but its still cool.

Either way I'll still be modding on the 360 for at least another year or 2, especially with the roster we have now.

Woah this is nuts! Need an excuse to dust off the gaming pc :D Suddenly become slightly more interested in 2k15!

No way!!! awesome news if true.

Will make modding a pleasure, like with street fighter 4 or mk. Hopefully the pc uses the same endianess as the 360, that way all the modding tools will work fine, otherwise will need lots of recoding.

this is such good news. however, i guess it means we're limited to what's on 2k15 only. no importing from previous games etc?

Obviously not. Sadly, even if there was a way to get past models to work (which might be more forgiving on the PC? Not sure--not clue about PC stuff), from a pure polygon standpoint--not to mention the new body scans vs. Yukes old method--surely they'd look like complete crap next to the 2K15 models. Think a PS2 model next to a 360 one. Maybe not as harsh, but it gets the idea across.

Yeah, I agree, I think at most, simple re-texturing of attires from the older 360/PS3 games would look decent enough, and that's if and when the PC format of the game gets figured out.

As far as model formats go, in my opinion I don't think the format will be same, so.. yeah, obviously in that case the entire new format would have to be figured out in order to convert the older models, but like you said, they might not even hold up that well..

Yeah, as far as the model formats go, again, it'll be like PS2 against 360 ones. They completely changed things up--if out of nothing else, necessity--with how the pac files were structured when they made their way onto the last generation of new consoles. Surely we'll see the same thing happen on the PS4/XBO. Also, with Visual Concepts in the mix, there isn't even a guarantee that we'll be working with pac files at all anymore. I know Yukes is still there, but there's a good chance they may have just taken care of the 360/PS3 versions. They never really said how the work was divided.

this PC i'm on the minute just isn't good enough to support gaming, so i'll probably stay with the 360 until I can upgrade or just buy a gaming PC outright. my intention is to use one of the games from the last three years as a basis for a complete custom game, along with all the rosters we have to choose from. this renders the PC version useless for what I need it for. I feel like I've done PC mods to death, which is why I bought a JTAG. I'm gonna stick with it for now :)

@Titan83 That's a great idea man. :)

I'm also going to probably to stay with the 360 for a while, as there's more modding capabilities at the moment and the fact that I don't know whether my PC will meet the minimal requirements, so my PC too might need an upgrade.

we've all worked so hard on building this community these last couple of years. hours and hours of time, effort and energy gone into research, scratch modelling, textures upon textures upon textures, software design, coding, more research lol we know so much, and there's a feeling of exclusivity in what we do. i understand the times are changing, and our community will be stretched wide open when the PC version is figured out. change is good, and I'm all for it. but i'm not ready to go back to PC yet!

Im just stoked that I will get to play the current gen version without having to buy a new console, I bought

11227-00_R9_290_TRI-X_4GBGDDR5_DP_HDMI_2

about a month ago to play Dead Rising 3 and GTA V so now I feel a bit better about all the money I shelled out.

Modding on PC version will take a long time to get any where near as good as we have it now but at least its going to be a possibility.

Now while it would make sense that the PC version will be the current gen all singing all dancing version, has anyone thought that it might be the 360/PS3 version?
