Tamer™ Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Nope. I'm still getting a PS4, even if I did have one I'd still buy it on a console. Quote
EZY Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 This game will look great with my two GTX 980 SLI! but... same problem with NBA 2K15, I was kinda bummed that the PC version doesn't have face Scan tech.. Since I'm horrible at the CAP, I was looking forward to to that option and decided to get NBA 2K15 on PS4. Now I have to decide "IF" WWE 2K15 has face scan do I roll with that? or finally play a WWE game on PC... thinking PC, if all this is damn true like Kurt Angle lol Quote
Steve ® Posted September 23, 2014 Author Posted September 23, 2014 tamer very bad but you have more than that xbox Quote

Curb Stomp City Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 This is great news. Just as I sell my PS3 and buy a gaming laptop this happens. I was considering buying a PS4 just for WWE but this will save me alot of money Quote
Cm Best the second Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Well I am getting it for PC.. The modding community will explode and it wont be a hard task to get mods unlike the PS3... PC will be the best hopefully.. And even if the ports suffer.. The modding community of every PC game had some kind of custom patch etc.. The mods thou.. O man Quote

O man Ikr can't wait to see what kinds of mods will be created, from title screens to, superstars, to arenas and maybe the pc copy will feature custom music but with ps4/xb1 graphics, it is going to be awesome!!! I pre-ordered a copy already for ps4 when my brother did his so im going to end up buying a copy for 360 and just sell or trade in for the pc copy when it comes out lol. This will be great for the people who needs a little more time saving for xb1/ps4. Most games i have had run fine on my labtop with no problems hoping this one will be no different them mods tho Quote

O man Don't count your chickens... we don't even know how easy it will be to mod yet. We don't know how the game is structured. We don't know what model format we're working with, or if we're working with pac files or what. You won't be able to add models from any older games. there's a chance that somebody will have to recode any existing modding software. we don't know how the files will be compressed. there's no guarantee that any of the file formats will be familiar. you just need to wait and be patient. Go to the 2k14 modding section. There will be discussions in there that may start to answer and query's you might have Edited September 23, 2014 by Titan83 Quote

I'm pretty sure there will be great interest in modding the game. Modding those consoles cant't be easy, so if they can figure that out, i'm sure the pc will be a breeze...hopefully Edited September 23, 2014 by EZY Quote
the King Lives Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 I have a feeling it'll suffer. PC ports generally do. My laptop's powerful enough to give it a go but I do think it'll probably just be worth it to stick to consoles for now. We'll see, I guess. Yeah I had arkham origins on my PC it worked fine but had so many issues way more than the 360 version Arkham Origins worked fine for me on the PC, didn't run into any issues. The major issue I had was interrogating the penguin thug during his side mission and falling thru the elevator in the sewers under the gcpd building Quote
mrelectriccity Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 i'll wait on pc version depending on how easy & how good modding will be for it plus button config Quote
Red Rooster Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Gaming on a laptop is just a bad idea, how could you possibly think that an integrated chip on a motherboard could compare with a dedicated PCB with its own RAM and massive cooler? Shit, my graphics card alone is larger than most entire laptops in height and lenght and then you have to also fit in a CPU, system RAM, hard drive etc. Unless portability is required, laptops are always a worse option than a desktop rig. P.S. Build your own dont buy some crap from a shop. All-In-One PCs are just laptops attached to the back of a monitor.....crap! Quote
mrelectriccity Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 will it be the same price? and it isn't available for pre-order at least on Amazon, Walmart,Gamestop or Best Buy Quote
massac12E Posted September 23, 2014 Posted September 23, 2014 Strange that they downplayed the PC version until recently. Still, I'm pretty excited! Just tell me that custom A.I. is in so I can die happy, lol. Quote

I don't think that will be a problem with this if it's a port of PS4/XB1 with how close they are to PC architecture. Support will be the big thing with 2K because they definitely lack it on the PC side But the mods will be glorious, especially if it's on the level of NBA2K for PC. But my Asia laptop before it died got a lot of hardcore gaming out of it: GTAIV, Arkham City, Mass effect 1-3 just to name a few. Arkham origins and amazing Spider-Man 1 played great as well but yeah if I were to play this game for PC it would be on my hp desktop not my laptop. Quote

Austin Blaze Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 It has been confirmed via WWE Network that there will be a PC Version (Joygasum), no release date announced though. If you ask me it will be in between the release of last gen and next gen. Quote

M42Productions Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 I'm torn. On the one hand, this is terrific news, and I'll take any excuse to upgrade my PC that I can get; on the other hand, it's gonna be a port of the current-gen version, and we still know nothing about the Creation tools and how they'll be implemented in the current-gen version (especially in regard to Story Designer). This is still a big, fat, wait-and-see to me. Quote
Curb Stomp City Posted September 24, 2014 Posted September 24, 2014 (edited) For doubters of laptop gaming, check out the Lenovo Y50. The cooling system is great. I have had the laptop for just over a week and have been running next-gen games on ultra. You can get the laptop for a great price aswell. I highly recommend it for pc gaming. I have the one with 16GB ram, Intel i7-4710HQ CPU and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 860M 4GB. The Y50 is available with lesser specs but im not sure how they run. Edited September 24, 2014 by JAYMEETEE Quote
